Dataretrieval dot com set up. They are thieves!

We recently had a hard drive crash and there was also an issue with a large prtion of our backup. So, we researched several recovery companies in the area. We wanted someone local because we wanted to get our data back quickly. All the companies we contacted had an upfront fee of about $200. Everyone we talked to were very nice but when pushed for what the total fee might be the dance began. The bottom line it looked like it might cost $1500-$2400. We chose dataretrieval dot com in manhattan because after discussing the state of the drive with Omar he said the cost could be UP TO $1200. We overnighted the drive to them instead of using their prepaid ground shipping label for faster delivery. That next day at about 4:30 we recieved an email saying that intial evaluation of the drive, in a very long drawn out form letter, which amounted to them telling us it had crashed, which we knew and required an additional $424 to go to their "white room" and then an additional $3,446 to possibly retrieve our precious data!!!!! Of course, we told them to forget it and return the drive at which time we were told it would be an additional $25 to ship it back! The fact that we paid for the shipping there had no effect, they told us if we didn't want to pay the $25 we could drive to Manhattan to pick it up. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS! I understand the sensitivity in Hard drive work but $4,000!

100% recovered data.. I found other companies online while looking to rejuvinate my old drive which had crashed. I came across a few compnaies which only gave very vague estimates or time frames. The representative from Hard Drive Data Recovery Services New York wa svery up front about how much time it would take and about the pricing. I gave them a shot and later had to pat myself on the back for choosing these guys. 100% recovered data spoke for itself.

Will work for you.. Recently had a laptop drive that failed on me. Talked to a few data recovery companies but did not like any of their attitude/or prices. Hard Drive Data Recovery New York fit the bill perfectly with both. Just because my data was so corrupted they were only able to recover about 80% of the files but that was still more than enough for me. This company did the job for me,it will work for you.

Well organized service. Upon returning from a family vacation our computer crashed. We contacted a few data recovery commpanies, and everyone told us our data was unrecoverable. We found Hard Drive Data Recovery Services New York online and decided to give them a shot. Our hard drive had thousands family photos,some of them we did not back up at all.

We shipped the drive in, and our rep got back to us less than 24 hours to explain what was going going on with our drive and to let us know the costs.

Within only a few days,I received an e-mail that stated all the data was recovered. It was a huge break - I had been feeling very upset over losing our family photos

Pleasure to do business.. My drive was at service with two other recovery companies (to remain unnamed) couldn't fix them and I was always given a runaround:no exact turnaround time,barely any communication from their end,I really appreciated what Hard Drive Recovery New York could provide for me: a quick serivce and stellar updates of my case. My advice: if you want less headache and more results go with this company. What a pleasure to do business with!

Would highly recommend to anyone. I was really worried I lost all my files when my computer didn't boot up after a maintenance update. However, the Hard Drive Data Recovery Services NY mechanics diagnosed the computer and were successful in recovering the files, to the great relief of everybody in my household. It was a great service, and a very good one to know about. Highly recommended.
