Secret?. Very authentic Japanese flavor. Great service. I guess it's so hi-end to bother with an obvious restaurant sign. We passed by twice and didn't know what it was.. maybe it was because they just started.. either way the food is GREAT!

Upper West Side most well kept secret..
Away from commercial streets and almost unknown for many in the neighborhood.
Ichie is a family ran authentic Japanese restaurant on 106th street.
My girlfriend and I love it and go there since they started, even before the got a license to sell alcohol.
Highly recommended!!!
