Sc-Amity Hall - watch your bill!!!. THE GOOD: The ambiance (older crowd). Big space.

THE BAD : The bartenders (over charged me)

THE UGLY: The professionalism. WATCH YOUR BILL!!! Had a good time on my bday and noticed by bill was about 3X what it should have been. Didn't make a stink about it at the time because i didn't want to make a scene at my own party. Figured I'll just get it straightened out after the fact with the manger / owner, right? Wrong! The owner couldn't have been more indifferent about the discrepancy when claiming they would get on it and call me back. Went a week without hearing from her. She had no problem telling me i was "sh*t faced" (which i wasn't) and basically letting me know my concerns were meaningless to her. Funny bc they weren't meaningless to me. She loved to tell me how they run 8 different locations and practically making me feel about 1 inch tall because my dispute was a big nothing to her in a the grand scheme of things for their business. Wow, great bedside manner to a customer.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Don't be polite and figure out the dispute later because they won't be polite and respectful to you.

Fun Saturday Night. I just had my birthday party here and it was an ideal spot. The staff was super helpful and attentive, the drinks were great, the music was fun and it wasn't so crowded that you couldn't move. I would definitely recommend Amity Hall for a party on a Saturday night. There's even semi-private space if you want to sit with friends away from the bar.

You won’t find patrons with fake IDs guzzling watered-down well drinks. Instead, this bi-level beer hall is a beer drinker’s paradise, boasting a solid house list of 20 draft brews, an additional 20 craft rotationals and an assortment of high-end bottles. It’s also one of only a handful of bars in the city that has an authentic cask engine. Highlights on the menu, which gives a nod to local favorites such as Murray’s and Sullivan Street Bakery, include stuffed burgers, the Thanksgiving sandwich and homemade crispy pork rinds. The space is rustic and industrial; the decor modeled after the bar’s former life as a furniture warehouse in the 1940s.

beer beer beer!. Amity hall opened this past week and seems to be as popular as any other village hot spot (minus the tacky and trashy atmosphere of others' in the area). The extensive beer menu (crafts on draft are unbelievable!!), amazing "stuffed burgers" and friendly staff make for a great night out. crowd was good, not too young, as you might expect in the area. a perfect middle ground here and the bartenders seemed to know everyone in the place ... on the first weekend!! someone's obviously doing something right here, good work! look forward to being one of the "101 club" members...thats right, trying 101 different beers. who doesn't love that idea?!

C'ant wait. Booked my party there for 150 next week and i cant wait,Its perfect.

Its great for this area and about time an up scale bar set up shop and the 40 draft beers is incfredible,anyways its been needed for a long time..i would recommend this place to EVERYBODY.

Craft Beer Hall. .Amity Hall -named after west 3rd street ( which was formerly known as Amity Street in the 1900`s) is Manhattan`s only beer hall. 2 bars in a 3500 square ft space, originally an old furniture warehouse located at 80 west 3rd street. Offering 40 drafts ( 20 of which are rotating craft lines) 150 ecclectic bottled beers and an authentic hand drawn ( rotating) cask ale on offer. Our signature dish is our "stuffed burgers" 7 different types. We also offer an amazing appetizer, sandwich, sullivan street pizza and salad selection. Our chef is CIA trained chef Mark Whelan, and we are the newest addition to the family of bars of Stout, St Andrews, The Half Pint, Fat Annies Truck Stop, The Long Room and our flagship Maggie`s Place (1972).
