Great Vacation Rental. My wife and I are just finishing up a 1 month stay in one of the studio apartments. We both loved it! However next time I think that we will go for the one bedroom, since my wife and I have different sleeping habits, the one bedroom will prevent me from waking her when I get up earlier than she. But you are one block from subways and buses. Hint: Get the unlimited Metro pass....it'll get you on all the buses and subways and get you where you want to go, whether it's to Brooklyn or just a quick hop back from Times Square. You are within a block of three major banks (ATM's), more restaurants along 8th and 9th avenues than you can shake a stick at, and with several markets nearby you can make use of your full kitchen. Central Park is only three short blocks away. Times Square is a quick 15 minute walk right down Broadway. Hint: For Broadway shows, check out the TKTS booth in Times Square. Located right below the big red bleacher seats. You can get 1/2 price tix for most shows for that evening. And with show tix running from $80 to $200 each, that can be a significant savings. But back to my lodgings comments. Both Zoha and Danny were courteous, professional, and very responsive to the few needs we had. We will be recommending this facility to all of our friends and acquaintances. And if we ever need a long vacation in NYC again, we will immediately contact Zoha or Danny.
We Heart Market Rentals. My wife and I recently rented a MAGNIFICENT 2 BR from Market Rentals... It had the most spectacular view we've ever seen and I'm a native New Yorker... If you're in the market for a temporary 2BR, I highly recommend one of their corner units. The decor was beautiful, and once again... the view is not to be believed... WRAP AROUND WINDOWS 40 floors above Manhattan... The service was excellent. Having an on site office was great. Other times we've rented furnished apartments, we've had to wait anywhere from 12-36 hours... Market Rentals responded within an hour. The Big flat screens in all the rooms were a bonus. The staff is super friendly... what more can we say.
Renting in NYC. Greetings to all future renters, I just wanted to share my experience in reference to market rentals. I just got back from my 1 month holiday in NYC and I must say I had the best time. Market Rentals was a fantastic place to stay. It was in between Central Park and very busy Times Square. A perfect location. Our apartment was fantastic in every sense. I rented a 1 bedroom and it had everything. From a fully stocked appliance kitchen to cable tv; air conditioning, fully stocked bathroom, you name it. And not to mention the staff of market rentals, Zoha was an absolute delight and breath of fresh air. She was informative, attentive, alert and was there for me whenever I called. Her team Danny and Kevin also fantastic. Zoha's boss was also great (I can't remember his name as I only met him once). I had a slight mishap in the apartment and the owner attended to the situation and fixed it asap. He was amazing. Cost: The price of my one bedroom was half the price of a 4 star hotel room in nyc. Which is why I went with market rentals. Location: around the corner from columbus circle and central park and very close to any subway. I would stay here again in a heart beat and recommend it to anyone visiting nyc. cheers Angela from Melbourne (31 august - 30 september 2011)
Amazing customer service and awesome Midtown location.
I stayed at the 56th & Broadway building for three years. Yes, THREE YEARS. I needed a corporate apartment for a long term project and Market Rentals was the right choice.
I lived in a big studio overlooking the river. The apartment and furniture were clean and up-to-date. Bi-weekly maid service was extremely helpful as well. The building is quiet and the staff is really friendly. It was hard to say goodbye after three years when the project ended.
If I ever have the opportunity to work in NYC again, I will be calling Market Rentals right away. Their customer service and response time is unmatched.
Best deal for an apartment.
Came here for a month on business, had no place to stay. Saw these guys online so I called. Do the math, 30 nights in a hotel or 30 nights in a furnished apartment with your own amenities and free HBO. Not only will your expense report be happy, but so will your boss when you show them a bill for a monthly rent and not $400 a night.
Great Location, beautiful apartment, maid service with a gorgeous pool and gym overlooking the city
Excellent Choice for corporate Housing.
Stayed at a 1-bedroom apartment with Market Rentals for about two months. I had just moved to NYC and needed a short term solution until I furnished and moved to my own place.
The apartment I rented was in very good condition. Everything is provided. Linens, kitchen appliances and utensils, Sheets. Apartment had lots of closet space and a nice balcony. The furniture and hi-fi was all of a high standard too.The building also was very tidy and building staff were very attentive and helpful.
The people working at Market Rentals were always very friendly and helpful with any requests and are always around to assist.
The location on 56/broadway was also ideal for me as next to the subway at columbus circle and was easy to go up/down town. The area has restaurants and grocer shops all around and time warner center is just a block away and great on a cold/wet day when you don't want to stay outdoors.
All in all, i highly recommend staying with Market Rentals.
Easy Easy Business Trip.
For a recent business trip, my company needed me to visit the New York office for 3 months. My assistant found Market Rentals through google searching and ended up booking with them.
I flew in from Chicago to NY and throughout my entire 3 month stay in a one bedroom apartment, I was extremely comfortable. My room was cleaned every other week, and staying close to the NYC office was great. A swim in the pool in the building was a nice was to start my day.
I highly recommend Market Rentals.
Great Stay for Personal Visit!.
My sister and I are educators in Texas and decided to spend our summer in NYC. At first it was a bit hard trying to decide how long we could stay in NYC and where, etc. I found Market Rentals and after talking with the wonderfully helpful staff, I decided to rent one of their 1 bedroom apartments for June and July to share with my sister.
I was extremely pleased with the accommodations. First, when I walked in, the place was immaculately clean and nicely furnished. It was great the relax in my own apartment after a long trip in. I had never stayed in an extended stay apartment rental before, but I really had a wonderful experience. My apartment was cleaned for us every other week and the staff at Market Rentals were happy to help when I had a question about my internet access (and they were able to quickly solve the problem!).
I also really enjoyed staying on W. 56th Street a lot more than I thought I would. I was close to shops, Central Park, and had easy access to Broadway, but the street itself was quiet and very cute. I also found a lot of wonderful eateries on 9th avenue. I definitely recommend staying with Market Rentals if you're looking for a place to stay in New York City.
