Tastes like chicken!. This place is simply divine. Their food is amazing, healthy, and reasonably priced. Until recently, I didn't know that fake chicken could taste better than real chicken! Soy Cafe has won me over big time. Go there and don't be afraid of getting soy/vegetarian dishes. You'd be surprised at how delicious they can be!

Cute place to hang out. Been there a couple times and the service has always been great. Always have been greeted with a smile once I enter the store.

The lattes are great! I love the while chocolate and the mocha drink.

Also, the panini is delicious. I love the Turkey Ham, Basil, Tomato, and Mozzarella.

Great place to meet up with a friend to catch up or just bring your laptop because they have free wi-fi.

Cute Cafe. I am always in the neighborhood and I have noticed the cute decor from outside. One day I finally went in when I was looking for a place to sit and get some work done. I was shocked by wide variety of drinks! I tried Amaretto Grey Latte and it was delicious and became my favorite!!!! It is perfect place to sit and relax especially with a free wifi. I have became fan of the cafe and everybody is very friendly whenever I am there.

Remember to ask for password for free wifi!

I might just go Vegan. I finally went into this place after eyeing it for a few days and was pleasantly surprised. I love healthy food and the food was great! Better to have a little crostini with my tea than a biscotti, right? Totally try the dirty chai with chocolate. I will definitely come back to try their breakfast stuff and soyafrosts in the coolest flavors. Prices were cheap for great food!

Only wished there was more seating. But atleast that means business is doing well.

if this is vegan then i love it!. never thought i'd like vegan anything but this place has changed my mind. i had the green tea/mango soyafrost and my mind was thoroughly blown and my taste buds refreshed. the curried chicken salad sandwich was hearty and tasty. and the clincher: FREE WIFI. the most coveted thing amongst cafe-squatters in nyc. hahaha!

Great little spot. This is a great little cafe with tasty food, a comfortable vibe, and friendly, unobtrusive service. I can see myself sitting and typing away an afternoon here. As for the food, I'm not a vegetarian, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and deliciousness of the selections. I definitely recommend any of the crepes, and I concur with earlier reviews praising their cookies. They're quite good!

Recommended. A great place to work, eat, and/or unwind a bit -- perhaps after a walk on the High Line.

Cute little shop around the corner. I went to meet some friends here to just check it out. Although reluctant to go to a vegan cafe, I was sweetly surprised to find that they also had chicken/turkey sandwiches and crepes. Wheat free chicken curried crepe was so delicious. Good portions. The cafe is small and cozy with free wifi which is always a plus. I also tried their cookies... the peanut butter cookies were soft, chewy, but did not leave your fingers all greasy! The oatmeal cookie needs to be converted to non-vegan though... Overall, great service and great neighborhood!

nice spot to read and people watch. this is a nice place to just read and get some work done. they also have magazines available incase you need a small break. :)

i'm a big fan of the paninis, especially number 6 (turkey ham, basil, tomato and mozarella). i got the chai and honey soyafrost while i was there and it was pretty good (and filling!) overall, a very good experience.

Great lattes. Caramel soy latte was AMAZING. It is a great place to relax with friends on an afternoon. Although it can get crowded, staff will help you find a seat if necessary. Their service is first-class.

LATTE LOVE :). I love going here to get a latte while tapping away on my PC or to munch on one of the friggin ingenious panini pressed bagels while catching up with a friend in the front window area :). Took my best friend here and even with his picky palette, he loved his latte too. I want a panini press at work and home so I can press my bagels too haha!

I'm not even vegan but the pumpkin cookie was friggin delish :d! I went back another time but they were out of the pumpkin cookie, so hopefully they'll order more! I guess people know a good thing when they taste it :).

I wish I lived in the Village so I could go here more often :).
