Scam-robbed me of $300 – DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I have made a Citysearch account just so I can warn people of this deceiving company.

I have been battling with my credit card company since May and LimoRes still cheated me $300. They will scam you and cheat you of your money...my roommate called this car service for me to help move my boxes to storage and pre-paid over the phone with my credit card number ($65 for 2 cars). 2 Cars came, and they were late. We traveled from 15th street to 21st street - if you live in New York you know that it's a 10 minute drive, maybe not even. When I left, I was in a major rush as I was about to miss my flight, and I signed the receipt without looking at it.

A week later, I went online to check my bank account and they charged me $300 for the car ride....imagine my horror looking at that number....to go from 15th street to 21th st, this number is impossible!!! I went back and finally found my receipt, realizing that I had completely been tricked. They charged me again (the receipt was not pre-paid as I thought, despite it saying that on the slip) for both cars, adding on $62 for wait time (they waited 2 minutes, and I mean 2 minutes, literally, because they were late), processing fees, gratuity, and another $65 for EACH car. I signed the receipt without looking at the total - which was empty - and lost the case with my credit card company.

Putting my personal lesson aside, this company is ridiculous. Their drivers cannot speak proper English, they will tack on obscene fees, and they'll double charge you. NEVER give them your credit card number and if you want a car service, I would go with dial 7 limo. Stick with a cab if you can, because a lot of these car service companies are very shady and will take advantage of you.

TOTAL RIPOFF. Daylight robbery. The final voucher price was 20-30% higher than quoted through the website, and the driver argued with us when we pointed this out. The base fare was quoted at $125 but we were charged $130. The gratuity was obligatory, and the tolls and fees were misquoted also. All this even though the confirmation page we received made it look as though our credit card had already been charged the quoted amount; no - the driver insisted on taking an imprint and overcharging us. He was very rude and actually ordered me to get out of the car and ask an attendant where the Virgin Atlantic check-in desk was, because he couldn't read the signs himself. The survey form they sent us afterwards didn't even work - it wouldn't accept our confirmation number. We will never use Limores again for personal or corporate car needs.

DO NOT USE!!! – do not use this company unless you want to be ripped off. i was recently picked up at LGA;. when i arrived in NYC the driver handed me the form to sign...said he would fill it out later. when i looked there were dishonest charges (waiting time) doubling the initial price. when i questioned him, he stopped understanding and just said company policy. i called the company right there and was told they would not charge me. three days later they did.

Terrible service, missed my flight! – My husband and I had been using LimoRes for a few months. Many times their drivers do not know where they are going and don't even reference the GPS or log in the address of the destination prior to picking up a passenger.

Unfortuanltey, I made a reservation to have them take me to the airport as I was going to Russia for a seminar. I didn't know that they often sub-contract out to random drivers because their fleet often becomes overbooked.

I received a call that the car was on its way, so I went out of my building to wait for it. 15 minutes later it hadn't arrived. I called the dispatcher, they had me on hold for 5 minutes before telling me the driver was a couple of blocks away. I waited another 10 minutes, now getting very concerned about the time. I called again and waited on hold, once again being told the driver was nearby. Finally I spoke to the driver and he yelled at me that he was in traffic a few blocks away and to wait for him.

I hurried into a yellow cab, thoroughly stressed and then missed my flight to Russia!

I would highly recommend against using LimoRes, they

are not reliable.

BULL**** SERVICE – First and worst limo experience ever. When I first called to reserve a one way limo, I was told that they do not do one-way limos. Then I called again a couple of days later and another representative told me that they actually do one way limo services. So I reserved it with her and she quoted that the price was $357, I gave her my credit card information and she told me that I would be billed 2-3 days after the service. (THAT IS ALL SHE TOLD ME). So the night of my prom comes and I call them to make sure they are still coming and a representative tells me that my card was declined because I was supposed to have 10% more money than the quote in order to reserve it. I told them that no one told me about that and they said to me, "Im sorry." I also told them that I received an email saying that the whole thing was set and reserved and they said to me "Well I don't know what to tell you". This limo service is unbelievable, they suck at communication, and I just can not believe what happened. **** you for ruining my prom night LIMORES.

JUST AWFUL – LimoRese is the Worst of them all -- 103.66 queens to manhattan with one stop; took long way home--could not even help two elderly of our passengers out of the car and, could not even put some heat on in the car! (is there a law that cabbies generally cannot help passengers--is there, honestly?) and with that amount, though times are rough, not a drop of heat on a bitterly cold day?

Cab companies generally deserve to all go out of business--they all pull the same **** but particularly when you're paying this kind of rate?

THE WORST. Terrible Customer Service. Avoid at all costs! – Three strikes and you're out. We won't be using Limores again. The latest: I called for a rate. Was quoted by the phone agent $168.00 for an early evening pickup at La Guardia to downtown Manhattan on a holiday. This is a regular town car we were requesting. Nothing special. i declined as I wasn't in the mood to be gauged that much for a trip that normally costs $40-60. A few minutes later, an email shows up, letting me know I could get a better quote of $110.00. Odd, but I called to inquire and was told that I had been misquoted both times, and that the correct rate was actually under $50.00. Many apologies were made for the misquoted rates. So, I booked the car. This was four days in advance of the reservation. When the day of our arrival in NYC came, our plane touched down, and I checked my email, and found a message from Limores stating that my reservation had been cancelled. Odd, since I never cancelled it! I called and assumed that the mistake was an electronic one that Limores would surely rectify. But instead, the phone agent simply told me. Sorry, we don't have a car for you. Your reservations has been cancelled. I explained the situation to her. But, No offer to locate a car, no offer to solve the problem in any way, no explanations. I asked for a manager. Was put on hold two times, for 20 minutes. When I finally spoke to a manager, he told me they simply did not have a car. No explanation. No offer to rectify the problem. Instead, he claimed that the original rate I had been quoted, for $168 was the actual rate. And that the original operator had been correct. Ridiculous! Who is running this place? This was now the FOURTH time that we'd been given what we were told was the WRONG rate! This place is a complete circus show. Again, no explanations, no offer to rectify the problem. Just a bad attitude. My guess is that they realized that they had managed to book other cars at the 168 rate, and didn't see the point in honoring the under $50 rate on a holiday when business was booming, despite the fact that they had sent me an email confirmation with this rate and I had made sure when placing the reservation that the rate I was quoted was in fact accurate. Finally, after making my point for the fourth time, that I was astonished at the lack of proper customer service did the manager finally agree to see if he could locate a car to pick us up. At this point, nearly 35-40 minutes had already passed since the time of my reservation. We had the forethought to stand in the long, snaking taxi line while I spoke to Limores. Good thing as when the manager came back on the line, he said he thought he could find a car, but we'd have to wait another 25 minutes. Ridiculous. Having to wait nearly and hour and a half for a car defeats the entire purpose of ordering one in the first place. The manager didn't seem to feel any need to take responsibility for multiple misquotes on the rate, nor for the huge disparity in those rates, nor for the booking of the car that never came. If only one person had dropped the ball, we wouldn't be upset...especially if the manager had moved to solve the problem quickly vs. what actually happened. It took over 15 minutes on the phone with him before he even considered checking the area for an available car. His attitude: take it or leave it. Limores is a joke. Definitely call them if you want to chance your car not showing up in the dead of winter; or you want your driver to arrive surly, and late, (that was another poor experience with this company.) or want to be quoted one price only to be gauged for another. We'd give them negative stars if that was possible. But we'll just leave it at this: BUYER BEWARE! Customers want a car service that is consistent and reliable. Limores fails on both counts. Too bad for those who work at the company who actually care about the customers. The others, like the MANAGEMENT screw it up for the ones who are trying to do a good job. Terrible.

DO NOT USE LIMORES SERIVCE.... PERIOD!! – This company is a total SCAM!!

They DOUBLE-CHARGED me both cash and credit card. It was already known to them prior to my travel that i was going to pay by cash. They asked for credit card information to hold my reservation. But they went ahead charging my credit card when i actually did paid by cash.

Prices quoted to me was $89.16 but i was charged by the driver $113. I was not prepared for it but i went ahead paying the cash. I did not asked for receipt nor the driver made an attempt to give me one, when he should. It was very early in the morning, my head was a little blurry. The driver talked too much and flirted and complimented me on how pretty i was, all the way through the journey which really annoyed me. I travel frequently from states to state, use a lot of limo services, did not bother to ask for receipts, trust them until my experience with limores.

A day later, i discovered the double payment. Called them up, they were aware about this and claimed that they will reverse back the bill to me. A week later, it was still not done. Since that day for a week, i kept calling them everyday asking to talk to the supervisor, but she was never around to answer my calls nor she was helpful enough and made an attempt to call me back. I eventually made a dispute report to my bank. Still i called limores looking for the supervisor in hoping i can speak to her to ease my mind a little bit, she was never around to assist me.

My bank, on the other hand, was making an investigation. Me, without a receipt to proof my cash payment was a disadvantage. I mailed them stating with all the conversation i had with limores, my case number with limores, the operators were aware about my case and admitted that i was double-charged, they admitted that they had received cash payment and charged my credit card. The bank could speak to them and get hold of the supervisor especially.

A few months later, which is today, my dispute failed. I suspect that even my bank, WACHOVIA, sit on this matter and did nothing about my case. It is very disheartening that even my bank is not helping me.

I am furious with limores and very upset with my bank to the point that i am deciding to closing my account with them. I am going to.

Now i'm going to file a complaint against limores to the bureau. I advise all other reviewers to do the same too. At least, maybe some actions will be taken against them, if enough complaints are reported.

to those who are looking for a limo service, my advise.....DO NOT USE LIMORES.... SCAM!!!

LimoRes is a SCAM! – We hired LimoRes to drive us from Newark Airport to our home in Pennsylvania. After receiving a text and phone call from them immediately after our landing, we were very impressed by their diligence. However, when we got to the curb, it was a different story. Our driver popped the trunk and proceeded to sit in his car and wait for us to put our own luggage into the trunk. After travelling all day, we expected this to be done for us, as we were spending $200 on a car service. We decided to stand there until he finally got out of his car to put our luggage in the trunk, but after he placed the luggage, he went right back to his car without even offering to open a door for us. The car was hot and we had to ask the driver to put the air conditioning on. For the duration of our ride, we were all carsick from the driver accelerating then braking and accelerating then braking...at speeds of 80+mph. He was constantly swerving in and out of lanes and did not seem to care AT ALL if our trip was smooth or not. It was one of the worst rides I've ever been on. When we FINALLY, got to our destination, the driver tacked on RIDICULOUS charges for tolls, tip and wait time. Tolls were 75 cents each way, however we were charged $18. The tip was over 25%. Our flight was 30 minutes EARLY and we were still charged for a wait time. From what I've read in other reviews for this company, this is a typical occurrence. We eventually called 911 because the driver was demanding and we felt as if we were in danger. After the cops arrived and instructed the driver to return our charge receipt, we were finally able to rest. The last 2 hours of our vacation was ruined and LimoRes is to blame. I will NEVER use them again. We received a follow-up email offering us discounts and free upgrades for using their service, but I'd rather WALK 80 miles home from the airport than EVER use LimoRes again. Highly disappointed in them. Our trip was a nightmare and our driver is a crook!
