I love "I salon"! I've been going there for years for color, highlights and hair cut and have always been happy with the results.

They make my hair look healthy, stylish and "chic" - this is what my colleagues say about my hair cut, although I realize that my hair is actually very thin and it takes a lot of skills on behalf of a hairdresser to cut it the right way, so it'll keep its shape. Well, the staff there is very professional and have years of experience working with different types of hair.

I tried other places and then regreted that I have. No more unhappy experiments! I am a loyal customer of the salon.

I would recommend it to anyone: this is the only place I can go and relax knowing that there will be no bad surprises. They keep their customers happy!

Wonderful. I went here already knowing that she was going to be pretty good because my husband somehow found this place when we moved and his hair always looks amazing!!! I lived in L.A. for ten years and have spent so much money on numerous Beverly Hills stylists and hairdressers so my expectations were not super high but wow, was I pleasantly surprised. This lady is a miracle worker with scissors. I am very picky about my hair but she captured exactly what I wanted. Also, I can honestly say this is the best color I have ever had. She knows her stuff. It is so nice to have someone care about what they do, do it so well, and actually listen to what you want and look at your face and coloring to see what would be best for you. I will recommend her to ANYONE looking for a good stylist. SUPERB!!

GREAT!. I just moved to the area and a friend recommended I go here for my haircuts. My wife said it is my best haircut, ever. She took the time to analyze my head to see the best style. She nailed it. She did such a good job, my wife has an appointment with her tomorrow. She is really picky with her hair, so I will have her write a review after.

best salon in the town!!. This place is amazing . Went to the place last monday for mani/pedi and waxing . The asian looking lady did very good job and the staffs are very friendly . The ambience is very soothing and very satndard .Looking forward to go back again .:)

Uneven haircut and hair color. I usually get my nails done here and the service is always great super fast and affordable but I am writing this review based on my recent experience getting a hair cut and demi permanant color.

I have come home to my hair being cut uneven once the blow out wore off, the hair colour is different at the roots than it is to the tips and I am HIGHLY dissapointed. I would just stick to getting nails done at the salon or a trim of your bangs but don't do anything else. Sub-standard haircuts and colours. You get what you pay for it seems.

Great Service, and very Happy with the Haircut!!. I am originally from Queens, and have tried many hairdressers in my area, but was unhappy so I finally decided to try out this place after reading the great reviews on Yelp.

Doris is very professional, warm and friendly, she definitely knows her stuff, and gave me wonderful advice about which haircut and color would suit me best. Go to Doris, if you want a wonderful haircut/ color

GREAT Service, easiest wax i've ever had!. Excellent Excellent Excellent Brazilian Wax!! When I went there I felt like I was cheating on my regular waxer of many years at my favorite place....however, I purchased a KGB /Lifebooker (cant remember which company) deal online for only $20 (its usually $40-$45).

Geeta gave me the least painful wax Ive ever had. She was very nice, and kind of funny - which in these situations - is nice. I'm going back!!!

Best Brazillian Ever!. Though many would say that "best" and "Brazilian" shouldn't even be in the same sentence together, I'd like to disagree cause I just had THEE best Brazilian wax I've ever had. Period.

I've lived in NY since summer of 2007 and I've been to half a dozen salons & day spas that boast the Brazilian technician and every single one had ranged from..

TERRIBLE - I bled! Bruised! And don't even get me started on in-growns *shudder* I refused to pay.

HALF-ASS - like lady, seriously? Are you blind? I might as well have done it myself had I have a pair of eyes and balls enough to yank that strip off..

Until today that is! ^_^ I snagged a $20 Brazilian wax deal from Groupon/KGB deals at iSalon. The reviews online were mediocre, but they were mostly about haircuts so I decided to give it a try. Worst that can happen is I sell the vouchers to someone else (oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I bought THREE cause it was too good of deal to pass up). I'm Asian kk.

I got there 20 mins early and they were soo nice and polite. The owner Dorris, has been dealing with me all day trying to move my appointment up from 4PM to 12PM bu it wasn't available so I took 3PM. I sat for about 5 minutes when Geta came out and brought me to the waxing room. No blanket... Huh. Ok whatevers *strips*.

Geta walks in and starts powdering and scolding me about shaving & not being consistent with the waxing. She was so NICE! She kept calling me "Sweetie" and saying "Don't worry, I take care of you!" hahah cute Nepali woman. On to business ~_~ no matter how much you do it, it STILL hurts!

And damn was she thorough! She got all up in it.. ZIP, ZAP, RRRiiiiiiiPPP >_< "Ok, sweety all done!" I'm like huh? *looks down* "whoa..." Seriously, it took 10 minutes! I've had some ladies take at least half an hour and I still gotta fix it up myself. Not with Geta though. Money well spent :] Thank goodness I have 3 vouchers..

Go there! Not to do your hair.. But to REMOVE hair! Ask for Geta and also ask Dorris for 15% ALL of their services. It was.. amazing!

P.S. They moved to 77 10th Street. Same owner & staff though.

Superb Service. i went there to get my brazillian waxing done. This was the best waxing, i have ever done. it was painless. i got it done by Geeta. she was very nice and waxed very nicely . The owner was also very nice. when i reached there the greeted very well . this salon is very professional . i must say, if anyone is interested in having painfree brazillian waxing, they should try at this salon by geeta.

Jack from Isalon is the best. Jack is the best hair stylist in Manhattan. I just moved to New York not too long ago and looking for a hair stylist that I likes is so hard. Jack helped me to come up a whole new look that all my friends like it so much. I will let all my co-workers know.

Oh, by the way I believe that is the not the update salon address cause they told me that they moved from 14th st area to East Village not too long ago.
