After three months of agonizing pain and paying thousands for procedure after procedure (none of which fixed the problem) I lost one tooth and have to replace the messed up cap they put on another. I called one Friday in agony with the pain and was told they couldn't see me until Monday. I had to go to an emergency dentist and was told Preferred dental left a massive infection in my jaw and had unseeded one of my teeth. Preferred had put a cap on the tooth not realizing it needed root canal. After weeks of pain they finally did the root canal but instead of grinding the cap off, the idiot novice dentist tried to yank the cap straight off! I was in agony and screamed at her to stop. Then they did the root canal through the tooth but apparently didn't get all the infection. The tooth Preferred loosened and cracked when they tried to yank the cap off had to be pulled. It took weeks of antibiotics to clear up the infection Preferred left in my mouth and never realized was there. Now after paying Preferred thousands of dollars, 4 months of pain and losing 15 lbs, I have to pay thousands more to fix the mess Preferred left. When I complained to Preferred they shrugged and told me "these things happen." Do not risk your teeth with these butchers.

I went there for my cleaning with my 4 month old baby, the staff were very nice and helpful. they kept asking me if I need anything. They held my baby during the cleaning. Dr.Lee did my fillings, I was so surprised that I didn't feel the shot. I will go back to finish the rest of the work.

Painless procedures. First time in my life that I felt very comfortable. The procedures were painless, the service is great. Dr Trivedi and Dr. Choi are fantastic.

They are Great!. I always hated dentists, with my past experience it was horrible. Coming here changed my mind. I still have some anxiety but by the end, I'm all good! You guys are great!

No pain!!. My treatment here was very good. Everybody is very nice. As far as work begin done like Root canals and getting fitted for my crowns, did not feel any pain. Not nervous at all. Very happy with all the work that was done.

Enjoyable experience!. I am enjoying my experience here, the doctor's are all nice and very helpful they make you feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Preferred Dental to anyone.

I loved it!. Before the implant I was anxious and scared but after the nurse explained the procedure to me I was less scared. During the procedure I didn't feel any pain, just some pressure, the Dr. was very skilled and professional and made it very fast. I loved it. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I finally found the ones!. Going to the dentist has always been a terrifying experience since I was nine years old when I chipped my newly developed permanent tooth. since then I have had 3 root canals and 5 different crowns. I have visited dentist in China and Mid west America, but it wasn't until I moved to New York city that my perception of dentist started to change when I found Preferred Dental Care (PDC).

Immediately after I moved to NYC, I frantically searched the internet and read review after review in order to find a good dentist. I went to a few places to compare prices and services. PDC is a place that checks your insurance coverage, tells you about your co-pay and consults options with you. All this is done before the dental services to make sure that there is no surprises as far as pricing. I feel like the people who work at PDC are on my side and will negotiate with my insurance company to maximize the benefit. They also provide very low prices that are not covered in the insurance like tooth whitening treatments. I got zoom and a take home kit at the price that would normally pay for just the kit. I am obsessed with having a great smile but I have a front tooth that is fake. I have gotten 5 different crowns in oder to maintain the natural look. I hated going to the dentist each time and hearing the drilling, feeling the pressure and pain, and spitting out blood. DR. Lee is very gentle, crafty, and most importantly explains what she was doing each step of the way, so that I always know what to expect. So far I have not experienced the discomfort that I have experienced with my previous dentist.

My worst nightmare is that I would break my crown and have a missing front tooth. It must have been Murphys law since I have porcelain jacket from PDC, I have chipped it twice. No matter if it was weekend or holiday , when I told PDC it was en emergency they made sure that I was seen on that same day that I called. The best part is that I got my crowned fixed both time and they were both free of charge! I really feel that PDC really takes care of me as if I was a family member.

Now I get everything there, including tooth brushes, gel, and advise on how to maintain white teeth, healthy gums, and tips to the best shops, hair salons and restaurants because I talk up a storm each time I am waiting for the Dentist. I feel like I am really good friends with everyone at the office. Maybe that's the reason why I keep traveling from Manhattan to Queens to get my dental care.
