great food. my dad started going to cafe Bello in 1999. He loved it the pizzia is the best. When he walks in the door everyone knows him he always order the same thing garlic piizia it's better then you know what? Keep up the good work Phill and Tom. Thanx,

One of those places you'll return to, over and over.. My wife and I started dining at Cafe Bello in 1995. Back then the space was half if what it is now, and unless you got there by 6:30pm the wait at the bar for a table could often be a half hour or more. Yet the place was always worth the wait. Several years ago, they expanded, and although the wait isn't as long as it used to be, the food and service are still incredible. From their appetizers like a Grilled Porto Bello mushroom in a burgandy reduction, or any of their regular main dishes, all is wonderful. A wide variation of specials are always presented, and their brick oven pizza is simply the best pizza in the area. The portions are large, yet not overwhelming. The hosts and waitstaff are very attentive, and the prices are very reasonable.

Don't expect a romantic dining experience, just a good well cooked dinner in an upscale environment that also makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. This is one of those places that people return to over and over again, you should too.

Classiest place in Bayonne!. Argueably the best restaurant in Bayonne. The food is creative and excellent. The best carbonara I've ever had. Great crowd, and wonderful staff who dote on your every wish. No problems with special orders and will make past specials if they have the ingredients. Also, their drinks and glasses of wine are huge and a bargain for the price

great food. i thought the service was fast. we went for my mom and dads wedding, well after the wedding a group of went. if you want seats, you do need to make RESERVATIONS. common sense when going to such a nice restaurant.

Horrible disappointment. We went to Cafe Bello hoping for a romantic night out. I called to make a reservation and was informed that they do not accept reservations for parties of two. We were told that the wait for a table would be 20 minutes; it took an hour and ten minutes. When we were seated it took 15 minutes to get a menu, half an hour for the appetizers, and an hour after the appetizers we finally received our entree. I ordered a chicken breast that was stuffed with cheese and spinach and my chicken was dry and had a strong vinegar taste. The wait staff rarely visited our table to see if we needed anything which meant we had to work to get the things we needed (menus, our main dishes, etc.). I was terribly disappointed in the evening.
