Don't get scammed by them
by Jim R at Citysearch
This is the home of bait and switch. After being here for several hours we finally made a deal. Mind you I get cars via x-plan so you would think it would be easy but not at Fette. Once we made a deal of $1500.00 down and $296.00 per month on a car I thought everything was a go. After all 3 managers came over and shook hands on it. Well after waiting 2 hours they came back to me and said I needed to put $3000.00 down and my payment would be $340.00 per month. This is not the first time this has happened when they make a deal then come back and say I need to pay more. The manager told me to take it or leave it so I left. DONT BUY FROM FETTE BOYCOTT AND DRIVE THESE JERKS OUT OF BUSINESS

Let me start by saying I was not scammed by Fette Kia, or ripped off. But I did want to shed light on a recent experience I had.
I am the owner of a new 2007 Kia Optima which was due for it's first 7500 mile service. I called the dealership and advised of this, and also mentioned that there were a few minor warranty issues that needed to be worked out (rattling from under front of car, and intermittent transmission jolt into 3rd)
I made the first appointment available at 8am, and arrived exactly on time. I was greated and sent to a waiting area. I had waited around 3 hours, watched customers come and go, for the same routine service (yes we talked in the waiting room). Some that came at 10am were out the door before me (and both of us just needed an oil change)
When I was finally acknowledged by a service advisor, he mentioned they couldn't find any fault codes with the transmission and they need me to take it for a test drive with them. He then asked if I wanted to have my vehicle serviced, which was the reason I had come. Having waited 3 hours, and no service being done, and only 1 of my warranty issues addressed, I decided to walk out.
The reason for the wait was 'they were backed up' and the customers that were serviced before me were simply waiting for a part, although our waiting room conversations differed from this, but whatever. Keeping in mind I was the first appointment and I had specifically asked for the 7500 service.
Long story short, there is no ripoff here, just a monumental waste of time. Fette Kia had the opportunity to turn me into a customer for the life of my car, but instead left me running to my local mechanic. No apologies offered, no explaination why my oil change wasn't completed in the 3 hours I was there. Nothing.
The dealer is split with Ford as well, so I don't believe it is an isolated Kia issue.
