AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Customer BEWARE. The dispatcher, MIKE, quoted one price and when we got to our destination, price had more than doubled. When I questioned the driver, he said "Listen Lady. You should know better than to think it was going to cost what you were quoted." I have never experienced such poor customer service. He was unbelievably rude and abrasive and then he insisted a 15% tip be added on to the charge!!! The car reeked of cigarettes and there were holes in the seats. The driver was reckless when driving on the turnpike -weaving in and out of traffic. I would rather walk to my destination than ever use this service again.

Never again

Used taxi service between home and research facility on two consecutive mornings. On afternoon of second day, called for pickup. Waited 45 minutes without pickup or a call to notify me of any problem. I then called business and was told address didn't exist. Person on phone was rude and hung up on me as I tried to give directions to facility.

Rudest.

I've been using different taxi services in this area, including Babe's, for more than a year now.

They always had extremely rude phone representatives and crafty cars and drivers. My experience with them today will definitely be the last one:

A rude, disgusting driver who kept cursing and drove horribly.

Me and my girlfriend were shocked.

Expectedly, My complaint call was not treated in an appropriate manner.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST

I was stuck in terrible traffic in Manhattan trying to get to Englewood where a Babe's taxi was to pick me up and take me to Newark Airport for a flight to London. Panicked, I called Babe's and was told not to worry; I arrived more than a half hour late to Englewood and the taxi was still waiting there for me, at no extra charge, to get me to the airport on time. I'll never use another service. They have been fantastic each and every time!

• Pros: trustworthy, professional, friendly.
• Cons: haven't found any yet!
