Have never been angrier/more disgusted leaving a restaurant.

Went last night with 4 of my girlfriends for a fun dinner. There were several empty but dirty tables when we arrived and had to wait about 15 minutes for them to get around to cleaning and seating us, which was surprising, as they weren't busy. We were sat at 8:30ish; the chips and salsa were delicious, although between the 5 of us we ran out quickly and were never refilled. The special was buy-one-get-one entrees and draft beers. Awesome, we were SO excited and planned to make a night of it. We ordered 2 orders of fajitas (veryyyy good), chicken and cactus quesadillas (mixed reviews), and an order of chicken tacos (meh, just alright). Our waiter, Jorge, dropped our food and about a minute later asked to see if we were alright, which we were at the time.

Things went downhill from here. Half an hour later, our beer glasses had been empty for quite some time and we had to holler another waiter over who brought us another round, while our waiter sat at chatted at another table. We sat there drinking our 2nd round, with all our dirty dishes on the table. By this time the place was almost empty, still nothing was cleared and our waiter continued to socialize with friends and ignore us. We would have gone for a few more rounds, however, couldn't get his attention and he was talking on his cell phone. Finally, at 10:30 we had to get up, seek out our server, and demand the check. As soon as he walked away with our credit cards, my friend started shrieking. There was a small rodent running around near us! We called for help and alerted the staff - when they saw, they just laughed, muttered "oh no!" and did nothing. AND OUR WAITER CONTINUED TO PROCESS OUR CREDIT CARDS. The deal was great- I'm not trying to be cheap, but I do not expect to pay for a meal when a vermin is spotted. We got our cards back, and quickly left, as it was still scurrying about the dining area.

Amazing deals. Mediocre food. Worst service EVER. FILTHY environment.

Rude Hostess, Dirty Tables

after the rude hostess seated us after a long long wait time... she allowed a group of 3 to go ahead of us 2 just because some tables "were made for 3's".... when we got to the table it was sticky, and we saw them only wash it down with a wet dirty rag. it was disgusting. the only good thing was the waitress, forget her name, tiny with brown hair, was very nice

DO NOT GO THERE!!!

DO NOT GO TO EAST LA UNLESS YOU WANT R0ACHES IN YOUR FOOD!! There was group of us girls out for a nite of fun but instead we had r0aches! When we were done eating we saw about 3 r0aches on the wall crawling right next to our table!! I showed it to the bust boy & he said "yeah i see it" I proceeded to ask him for the manager but no one ever came. Then I approached our waiter named George and told him the situation and he said "well now u know what it's like to be in East LA" I told him it wasn't a time to joke it was a serious matter, again I asked for the manager. He said they've had that problem for years now soo then George pointed at an older woman maybe late 30's or 40's with blondish hair. I was trying to explain the situation and she was just plain rude she was inputting information into the computer and was not looking at me while I was speaking to her. She said there was no manager and I said well then who is in charge? She said no one really? And I go so what do you do if you have a problem? How can you run an establishment on a Friday night with no manager? Then she had the audacity to say "are you serious? u you never seen r0aches in a restaurant before? Outraged I said NOO are you serious acting like that is normal? And she said "are you serious you never seen r0aches in a restaurant in hoboken? And so I said I can't believe you are serious because we live in the US where there are health codes and regulations to abide to and she just walked off and completely ignored me!! Later on I found out through a friend that that lady was the manager and that George is kind of an assistant manager! They lied to me said there was no manager to avoid the problem! Whoever the owner of this rest is I suggest hiring a professional staff who has managerial experience & doesn't avoid problems & fix your r0ach problem! DIGUSTING!!! Spread the word tell every1 NOT TO GO THERE!!!
