Worth the Trip!. I took my girlfriend here from Manhatten. I grew up in the area and after dinner with the family, she really needed a place to unwind. Thanks to Helmers' I might get her to come back. Plus, who doesn't love a good authentic German beer? I love the craft beer scene, but they still bow to the King of Beers--Germany, of course. Great appetizers, too!

Superior Food and Beer. I hesitate giving this place a great review because it's so good I don't want the usual Hoboken fratboys ever going there and screwing it up. Excellent food, excellent beer and beer selection, great place to have a real conversation.

Love Helmers Real German Beer and Great food!. Great Beer from Germany & authentic food, my server Hanna was also a sweetheart!
