Along with Vito's and Biancamano, one of the Holy Trinity of Mutz in Hoboken, and of the three, the most famous. This tiny deli has no seats, and little in the way of hot food. You take a bread, hand it to the man, and he puts a large amount of fresh, tangy, milky mozzarella on it, with whatever kind of peppers or tomatoes or meat you want. Or better still, just get a pound of it and eat it by itself.

Best Mutz- EVER!. First, the owner and staff are some friendly and helpful characters. Second, the mutz is the best you'll ever taste. Third, the roast beef and other sandwiches are not only delicious, they're cheap considering the amount of food.

Could be the all-time greatest sandwich.... Hot Roast Beef (cooked that day), Fresh Mozzerella (made on premises) & hot gravy from the roast beef.. Best ever - the hot roast beef is only offered on Tuesday (or Thurs) and Sat. Gotta get there early because the line will be out the door - worth the wait

The MUTZ!!. Best mozzarella in town!! Try the sandwich with roast beef, mozz, gravy, and roasted red pepeers. It'll last you all day.
