Run dont walk away from this operation. Disgusting customer service. Unreliable, undependable disrespectful bunch of liars. Total MISmanagement. Do not use them. Hoboken needs to put them out of business now! Im not sure how they stay in business. -10 stars across the board. Can everyone be wrong? Do not use! I will also be joining in red as well.
AWFUL-DO NOT USE THEM. They don't even deserve one star. I've rented from them for the past few years and they are awful. They never return a phone call or email, however on their website it says "excellent customer service." I have yet to see that. They did not send any information regarding lease renewal or information if I planned on moving out. I called them to inform them I was moving (mainly because they stink) and Kelly (whose not always very nice) said, "Good thing you called today or you would be locked in for another year." And let me tell you, I would have not stayed there regardless. They are rude and unprofessional. When there is a problem in your apartment your expected to find someone to fix it. In other words this company is AWFUL and I have no idea how they are still in business.

To add insult to injury, HRM Co, the management company that the bldg insisted on keeping in its employ was terrible.
We never had a civil conversation with any of the employees of HRM. They are mean, indelicate, deceitful, confrontational, unprofessional, rude ... the list goes on.
Example: water was pouring down onto my head & an employee of the mgmt company told me, "Calm down now - I'M not the one running water upstairs from you!"
WE JUST MOVED IN & here I am watching my new home get destroyed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And that's what you say to me?
A few months after we renovated our apt, HRM's lame-ass plumber wanted to rip out our custom countertops, so he could get to a pipe that was leaking 2 floors above.
And the HRM would have let them if I hadn't been there to tell them NO!
Add to all that unpleasantness (as if one could), were were under constant (and I mean constant) scrutiny & accusation by HRM who would post snide letters in the bldg chiding owners - yes, the OWNERS meaning US, the people who emplyed them - that we needed to "follow the rules" etc.
Do yourself a favor, if you are at a crossroads about who to hire to manage your bldg, stay far, far, FAR away from these mean-spirited people!

i could just cry reading these reviews - i wish we had known to check online reviews before we hired these people. they have done such a terrible job manageing our prop & when we try to communicate w them, they are confrontational, rude & argumentative. is that how a person who works for you is supposed to behave?
iv'e heard there are many good mgmt companies in our area - we plan to follow up on references this time, before we replace HRM (which we will do - asap).

We cannot get oiur board to fire this creep - he has them convince that if they change, things will get worse.
i dont know how things coiuld possible get worse! no notice of any goings on in the bldg, no courtesy, no honesty - i'll join you at his funeral wearing red!
EM should retire.
Some day, EM will die & I will wear a red dress to his funeral.

Avoid these people like the plague.
This company has an uncanny way of blaming all their screw ups & short-comings on everyone else,
all of the time.
If a condo board has more than 1 weak-minded person as a member, EM will find a way to intimidate & manipulate them into being their pawn.
It's amazing that they haven't been sued for every dishonest, low-life thing that they've done or the slanderous things that they've accuse (innocent) others of having done.
My wish for these people is that their company go straight down the toilet, right where their morals & business ethics lie.
If one of them died sometime soon, that would also be pretty sweet.
I detest these people. i can't bear to even give one star as a rating, since eveyrthing i've read on this site to date is only the tip of the iceberg. to add insult to injury, they caused MORE damage to our bldg by allowing shoddy repairs, unlicensed & unethical contractors to work for us.
