Greatest moving experience I ever had

I moved from PA to FL and I used Travel Van Lines. The man I spoke with was so helpful and on top of everything. I never had to call him he always contacted me and kept me posted. I had a lot of stuff to move and nothing was missing or broken. I was very impressed with their services. I also must say they were fairly priced!!

Travel Van Lines goes under the guise of another company with an "A" rating, when they are actually Certified Van Lines with a "D+" rating. Upon arrival, they had changed all the rules, and all the fees on me, and presented me with papers to sign from Certified Van Lines, telling me for the first time that they're the same company. When I contacted "JR" the person I had originally scheduled the move with, he relinquished all responsibility and said he had nothing to do with the plans anymore, his job was done. They threatened me with paying the balance in cash only, upon arrival, without opening any doors. I felt like it would be like "Let's Make a Deal" and they'd take my cash, and then open the truck only to reveal a goat and confetti. My parents had to run to the bank to get cash while I sat with them. I felt like I was being held hostage in these mafia-style plans, and it was an extremely horrible experience. All of my things were there, but they did manage to drop a box, and break a piece of glass. BEWARE of Travel Van Lines and Certified Van Lines!

DO NOT HIRE THESE MOVERS. YOU WILL REGRET IT!

My husband called and asked for a quote from this company; they sent Anthony who subsequently toured our condo, looked at all our belongings, closets, etc. Anthony wrote up a "binding estimate" for approximately $7,000. My husband actually thought there was such a thing. There is not! He was tricked into hiring this company because they provided such an affordable quote. The truck arrived at our Bethlehem, PA home 2 hours late. The movers were grouchy and complained all day at the amount of stuff we had to move. They packed the china and crystal (of which many subsequently broke in transit). The movers loaded a truck they claimed was too small and still had 1/4 of our furniture to load. The foreman said they'd have to go back to New York and get another truck for the rest of our move. We were leaving town the same day to drive 3,000 miles to CA! It was a disaster the entire experience! The final price for this move was greater than $13,000! If you want to have faith in your estimator, if you want to have pleasant movers, if you want to trust that all your belongings arrive in good condition, do NOT hire this mover.

Very Professional!

They were very professional when dealing with the service staff at the building I moved from and the new building we moved into. As I have heard horror stories before, these guys moved us with no damage to our furniture and stuck to the original price which had been among the lowest of our quotes. Thank you Travel for all your help!

Movers Extraordinaire!!!

I had never used movers before. These guys were AMAZING. I had a younger man and an older man that said they worked together often (only mentioned because I can't find the card with their names, and I want their employer to know how great they were!)

Their working together alot meant that they worked well together, worked quickly, and were REALLY funny. Not only were they great, but they had me in stitches the whole time! Fun, quick, and completely up front about their quote. They also helped me set up my bed!

As a young woman who has never used movers before, Travel Van Lines made the experience a delight.
