Dear lyndhurst grl,
I'm genuinely sorry and disappointed that we did not live up to your expectations in the past. With regard to the workout equipment and facility, King's Court Health & Sports Club is currently under a multi-million dollar renovation. The transformation will include an all-new indoor running track, basketball court, refurbished swimming pool with duel jacuzzis, VIP personal training area, floating-wood floor racquetball courts, an indoor turf soccer field, a healthy cafe' and a state-of-the-art cardio room with natural sunlight looking out to Riverside Ave. King's Court is additionally building new men's and women's locker rooms to include more lockers as well as a steam room and a sauna. (Photos on 'King's Court' Facebook page) Since I have only been here for two-weeks, all I can say about the staff is that they are all knowledgeable, dedicated, and extremely pleasant to work with. After 31 years in the Lyndhurst community we have always provided a comfortable, family atmosphere to help our members reach their fitness goals. Thank you for your compliment on our parking situation. We are looking forward to utilizing the covered garage parking for the winter season and we have plans to pave the front lot as well. I appreciate the feedback as it served as the foundation for the beneficial changes that are taking place now. I personally hope you give us another chance as we have added tremendous value to your King's Court membership.
Sincerely,
Matthew Florian

Don't waste your money here

The machines are old and some are broken. The roof in the weights room is leaking and all they do is leave a towel on the floor to absorb the water. The service is bad. Those ladies at the counter are rude and mean. Also, I was told that you get 2 free training sessions with a personal trainer who will go over your physical fitness level and measure you body fat. Boy, is the a lie. The trainer didn't even talk to me. The trainer gave me dumbells and showed some moves. Hello, like I didn't know how to use free weights. It was just disappointing so I didn't even bother to make an appt for my second session. Also, I notice that they overcharge ppl vs. other new gyms. They charge ppl for towel service. Their towels are not even good. It's a cheap cheesy material. Women locker room is also falling apart. Shower floor and tiles are dirty. Their advertise sauna and steam room is pathetic. It's just a single stall. First come, first serve....I can't wait until my membership is over. I'm never joining again and truly would not recommend the place to anyone. I give 1 star rating because of parking.
- Pros: parking
- Cons: old machines, leaking roof, bad service
worst racquetball courts

Racquetball courts have concrete floors painted to look like wood...avoid at all costs...other wise your legs and knees will suffer...be kind to yourself and go somewhere else...
- Pros: location
- Cons: concrete racquetball courts...
