Never Again..... Have come here from time to time, but a recent experience with the degrading wait staff will cause me to take my business elsewhere.

First off, they claim to be a place to come and watch sporting events on there limited televisions, but most of the televisions are on the CNN news channel and have no volume. The bartender that works the dayshift degraded our waitress right in front of us because we asked her if she could put on a major sporting event in progress. After no success with that, we asked another man who claimed to be the "owner" and he told us to relax!

I will never come here again, they seem to only cater to the people who frequent daily- I won't be one of them!

Best choice in the Meadowlands area. Without a doubt the Grasshopper is the best choice for food and drink near the Meadowlands area. It offers everything; live music, even live Irish music in the dining room Sunday afternoons, great food at great prices ='s great value, it's a sports bar, and a great choice for any TV sports event. I even went there at 7AM for a World Cup game and they were ready for me. Perfect before or after any Meadowlands event.

If you go to one of the restaurant chains in the area instead, you're crazy!

Wouldn't Come Here Again. First I have to say that service was nice and pleasant. We arrived here with another family pretty early on our way to a show at the Meadowlands. It was empty when we got there and packed when we left. I have no idea why.

The calamari was like tasteless rubber bands. The kids chicken fingers were not edible, neither were the mozzarella sticks. I felt bad for the kids, they were hungry. On the other hand my burger, which I ordered Med. Well came out just like that and not burnt - like some other places. So that was good. But overall, I felt that Houlihan's or Friday's would of been a much better choice. I don't understand how some restaurants sling out the same bad food over and over and never change the menu or the process. Did they even try their food? I doubt it. I would of sent it back, but we were pressed for time. Never again.

Neighborhood Irish pub with live shows, sports TV and a hearty menu.. In Short
This Irish establishment is adorned in typical shamrock style. Brass accents and green glass hanging lamps reflect against a shiny mahogany bar, where satelite TVs broadcast soccer championships and the American football games of the nearby stadium. Locals come for burgers as well as traditional pot pies, all served with salad, vegetables, the signature Irish soda bread and, of course, potatoes. Live shows keep patrons entertained--from Irish bands and pop DJs to quiz and karaoke nights.
