We bought our house knowing the pool was going to need some major work. Because we had used Maltese at our last house, we called them to do the pool renovation project for our new pool. In a matter of a few weeks, they turned our swamp into a country club oasis!

GOOD SERVICE. Have only received excellent service from Maltese, we usually use them for routine pool maintenance in the summer, but have also used these guys for a small renovation project as well.

Maltese: Unethical, Greedy, Dishonest and Slimy. Maltese Pools: Deflecting Responsibility is their specialty.

When you read the reviews about Maltese, the pros and the cons you will notice a pattern. The pros are written by people who had nothing go wrong with their job.

However, 100% of the people who do give Maltese negative reviews have the exact same experience with this outfit. If there is a problem, Maltese Pools will not live up to any responsibility. They don’t things back, they wont repair things that they are responsible for and they will never take back defective merchandise. The owner, Bob Maltese behaved in way to me that led me to the conclusion that in my opinion he is a shameless, low life, lying huckster.

I paid $4,000 for a liner and one season later it was wrinkled and damaged.

In typical Maltese Pools fashion, Bob Maltese, the owner of Maltese Pools, blamed it on me and told me that it was chlorine damage and the warranty expressly exempts the liner from chlorine damage .

When I pointed out that I was only told that there was a 20 yr guarantee and that I never received any warranty - he said "we left in the box" - of course this was absurd, no "box" was left behind when they installed a pool liner on a 40 ft pool. In fact they cleaned up all debris when they left.

To illustrate how low and shameless this creature is, when making my case to Bob Maltese he said “Is this what you do, you make a mistake and try to get others to pay for it”. What a Classic terrorist tactic. What text book, sociopathic behavior: try and manipulate and guilt the victim into feeling that they are wrong.

This is the Signature trademark of Maltese Pools. They will never take responsibility if anything goes wrong. Bob is a money hungry, shameless predator, preying on people's ignorance and inability to fight back. He ran into the wrong person with me because I am suing him regardless of the cost.

"Evil does not exist in a vacuum, it exists only when good men remain silent". Bob Maltese is as evil a human being as you will find. It amazes me that he is still in business.

I urge anyone thinking of doing business with Maltese to consider the following. After you look at the slick brochure, their pretty web site pictures, after you are told how great they are, after they tell you how long they have been in business, ask yourself one question. “What will happen if in one month or one year, or three years, something goes wrong”, is this the kind of outfit that cares about making their customers happy, or is this the kind of place that will do anything to get out of paying an extra nickel.

Believe me when I tell you that it is not worth anything to deal with a company that will not stand behind their customers.

Anyone can get good reviews when things go smoothly, the mark of an honest person, and honest company is how they react when things go wrong. Everyone is nice when things go right.

But a person’s true colors come out when he is facing a financial loss.

Maltese Pools are not honest and they do not stand behind their customers. I urge anyone who is considering doing business with them to find an alternative, there are plenty of other people out there who do not specialize in running away from their customers.

Nice. I love our new spa! Maltese did a fantastic job on our renovation project. I absolutely love the quality time I spend in it with my 18 year old son. It is the only time that I get to quietly spend with him. Thank you. I don't know what I would of done without it. My aches and pains in my knee are completely gone too thanks to the new hot tub.

Great job. We recently had Maltese do a small renovation project to our pool. The concrete around the pool was starting to crack really badly so we had them remove and replace the concrete decking around the pool. It did not take as long as expected and looks just great. I look forward to them opening my new pool soon!

Great service. No surprises, no problems, if they see something that needs to be fixed they handle on the spot or the same day.... sometimes the guy is here 2 hours sometime 30 minutes... they seem to do whatever it takes.

Great Place. First, they recommended the correct sized filter for my system, and talked me through the pluses and minuses of the different options. The other places tried to sell me something much bigger than what I needed.

Exactly what we wanted. We had Maltese add a Jacuzzi to our backyard. We also had them design it in a way so a waterfall would come out of the Jacuzzi and fall into the pool. As it turns out this is becoming more a common design, my husband thought he was being unique. Either way, the final product came out beautifully and Maltese could not have been any easier to work with.
