Considered a founding father of American casual dining, Houlihan's transformed its once-kitschy decor and meat-and-potatoes menu into a contemporary restaurant serving eclectic cuisine. Geared toward a slightly more upscale crowd, warmer colors and modern art adorn the walls, while Indie rock tunes and a patio leading to a walk-around bar remind you that you're not in Kansas anymore. The globetrotting menu juxtaposes classic burgers and wings with innovative selections like tuna wontons and herb-cheese stuffed mushrooms.

cheap good franchise eatery. This location has the NYC skyline view, so that makes it better than the rest. Also, the wait staff are friendly and helpful, the food is low priced and tastes good. Try the shrooms and the stuffed chicken. Their mashed potatoes are very good, and so are their frozen drinks. Prices start from $8.99-$18, very lowend and well worth it. The ambience is upbeat , yet can be romantic and cheery. Family and kid friendly. Get a booth near the window area for best view.
