Great Location......that's about it. Great Ambiance....Terrible Service

We dined at Arthurs Landing for our anniversary wanting to make the evening very special. What we experienced was a restaurant that offered a wonderful ambience and decor, OK food and terrible service. Throughout our meal, not once did the waitress (I believe her name's Patti) bother to ask us how the meal was or whether we needed anything else from the menu. For lack of a better phrase, we left the retaurant with a bad taste in our mouth... For the money this place charges for it's cuisine, the service needs some serious overhauling

Great Idea...That is about it. I and my party have visited Arthurs Landing in the last couple of weeks. The location is great. Food and service is where we had big issues. (1) Nobody cared if we were ok, food was ok, we needed anything etc. We saw the waitress when she took our order (drinks, food etc. all at once). It took perhaps half hour for the waitress to show up. (2) The food was ok. Idea was great, but mine had way too much salt in it (the monk fish) and my wife's needed some kind of sauce (the cab cakes) and lastly AND MOST IMPORTANTLY (3) We got sick from eating here. We shared our food during dinner and got pretty sick from it over night. We contacted the place, but nobody cared. Similar to our experience there. I would avoid at all costs.

Great Food with a view to match!!!. I recommed Arthur's Landing not only for it's beautiful skyline view but for the EXCELLENT meal and service we have experienced! The food was amazing and a view to match! WOW! I will be back again and again! My husband and I highly recommend Arthur's Landing to everyone on the waterfront and beyond. If you have not dined at Arthur's Landing this year, you must make it a point to go and dine! I know we will be back and we will bring our friends the next time we come. Arthur's Landing is the best restaurant on the waterfront!

go for the view only. My husband and I went here for dinner a few months ago and thought it was terrible and very, very over priced!!!!! The food was not worth the high price at all!! Then last week we went here only for a drink at the outdoor bar to enjoy the view and it was much nicer than wasting time and money on food. I must say it was very strange that the bar is set up with the bottles BLOCKING most of the veiw of NYC. We had to sit at the edge to look over. I think it is a nice place to have a drink when it's a beautiful night, it wasn't crowded (9pm) and it was nice and quiet. Don't wast your money on dinner.

At least the Bread is Good....... I had the highest hopes for this restaurant as the ambiance and view are spectacular.

My husband and I were not impressed. The water could not describe the entrees (I asked what "scallop agnolitti" was and if it was a form of pasta - after hearing a very long-winded explanation I still had no idea that I would be served ravioli). My yellowtail ceviche was not yellowtail at all and I had to send it back. Evertyhing was saturated in oil. My husband eats just about anything and his plate was still 3/4 full when we left. Thank goodness for the bread service. I was considering this place for a private event and I am very thankful I ate there first to help me exclude it as an option. Sorry, but my advice is to go here only for drinks and the bread.

get what you expect. if you are going here, you know that you are going for the view, the ambiance, not the food, so guess the food being above average is a great bonus

SO-SO. NICE PLACE, NICE ATMOSPHERE, BAD FOOD. I HAD NEVER SEEN A RED SNAPPER TURNED INTO FISH FILET SQUARES.

WOULD HAVE TOLERATED IT IF IT HAD TASTED DECENTLY BUT IT DIDN'T. WAY OVER PRICED , HAD MUCH BETTER MEALS FOR JUST OVER HALF THE PRICE IN PLACES JUST AS NICE.
