Considered a founding father of American casual dining, Houlihan's transformed its once-kitschy decor and meat-and-potatoes menu into a contemporary restaurant serving eclectic cuisine. Geared toward a slightly more upscale crowd, warmer colors and modern art adorn the walls, while Indie rock tunes and a patio leading to a walk-around bar remind you that you're not in Kansas anymore. The globetrotting menu juxtaposes classic burgers and wings with innovative selections like tuna wontons and herb-cheese stuffed mushrooms.

not the best one around. This location cant rival the weehawken location in service or atmosphere. The food and prices are relatively the same ofcourse. The waiters I have had seem as if they just dont give a damn about anything or anyone. They tried to fake the friendly attitude but I was nt buying it. They seemed disengaged from their customers. I didnt appreciate that. Also, the wait time for the food took quite a while. This location is good only for meatheads who enjoy the sports playin on the flat screens, other than that, drive a little further to the weehawken location.

Great salmon. My first experience at a Houlihan's and I really loved the Mustard Encrusted Salmon. An excellent dish in a very nice atmosphere.

"OUR PLACE". YOU KNOW HOW MOST COUPLES HAVE A SONG...MY BOYFRIEND AND I HAVE A RESTAURANT...HOULIHAN'S...THE BEST FOOD, BEST SERVICE AND BEST DRINK. ANY SPECIAL DAYS (BIRTHDAY, ANNIVERSARY, ETC.) WE ARE THERE...LOVE IT
