Quick To-Go Shwarma. The only mediterranean place I know around. Good for quick take outs. I usually get the chicken or lamb shwarma and they are ok ! Dont usually see anyone friendly over there !
Good, Cheap, Consistent Food. I've been here three times and I must say they have good falafels, swarmas, shish kabobs, and chicken kabobs. At least equal to if not better than the famous falafel places in the Village in NYC. Only enough seating for about 12 people, but most people seem to do take out anyway (delivery offered). In addition to eating in, I've walked by many times and the owner is always there, he seems to be keeping everything consistent.
Middling Middle Eastern. When we discovered Ibby's a few years ago we were delighted, but after remodeling and becoming successful, Ibby cut the portions and raised the prices. It's hard to go away hungry from a falafel place, but you will here! The Lentil Soup is still great though.
Good food, cheap price, what more could you want?. I love the eating at Ibby's. I first tried it last week, and has been going there since, every other day (I guess it helps that I live in the area). I've heard the buzz abt this place for a while, but was always skeptical. You've got to try the Shawarma! pair it off with Tea and a Baklava for a fulfilling meal. I also like the Falafel and chicken kebab. You really can't go wrong in this place. The ambiance is nice, the ppl are friendly, you can sit outside when the weather's nice. The food price is very reasonable.
HOLY MOLY!!!. Ever since I moved to Jersey City I've been looking for the food the I usually enjoyed at home. My friend recommended this place called Ibby's. At first I was doubtful that I would be as good as my mom's. Promise not to tell but boy I was wrong. The tahini sauce was just like the one my mom used to make at home. The falafel was ten times better. But my favorite has to be the chicken kebab with a little bit of there hot sauce! And of course you can't forget the desserts, the bakalava is so sweet, and the nemoura forget about it , it's out of this world! I suggest you go to Ibby's and treat yourself to the good life! THANKS IBBY'S!
