I just checked out Jaye M, and I see she had nothing nice to say about either of the high end salons she visited in NJ. I dont know why, maybe since she lives in North Carolina they do things differently there. I have been a long time client of Allendale Hair Studios (7 years) , I go in every 4 weeks for cut and color, and the atmosphere is very upbeat and friendly! I love the warm greeting I get and not only the smiles from all the staff, but a good laugh and a glass of wine, all to be topped off with my hair looking awesome! I work in NYC and could easily spend 3 times the price if I went to a salon near my job, I have done this quite a few times before I found AHS. BELIEVE ME, I've been doing this for 20 years now!

Allendale Hair studios is a gold mine in a small town, great prices, great people, great color and awesome hair! All with the added benefit of a happy staff who is always laughing and truly enjoying their clients!

They actually take clients well into the night for those of us who do have to work late, my appointment is always after 8 or 8:30 and I'm not alone! How many salons are this accommodating?

I LOVE YOU ALLENDALE HAIR STUDIOS! THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS DOING SUCH A GREAT JOB!

UNTALENTED NOISEY STAFF. I had my hair styled here for the first time for a big event I was going to that night. It was close to home and I read good reviews.

I have a pretty simple blow out style. It must have been the stylist first day, because she kept pulling my hair til it hurt, the dryer was too close to by scalp and I couldn't wait to get out of there. What a waste of money. Really I could have done a better job myself and did, because when I went home I had to start all over again.

This place was not for me and do not recommend it.
