Beware of Shoddy Workmanship.
In 2001, I hired Stonetown Construction to build a retaining wall along the front of my property and up the driveway. According to the manufacturer's specifications, the wall should last 75 years. It is now 2010 and the wall has to be replaced because it is in danger of collapsing.
I've had numerous contractors and an engineer look at the wall and all have said it is a defective wall. Shame on Stonetown Construction for building such a wall and for refusing to admit the wall is unusable.
