As fresh and tasty as sushi in Japan. Finally found a sushi restaurant at the same level of sushi restaurants in Japan. Their sushi was fresh and tasty. I felt as I were eating suchi back in Tokyo.

I strongly recommend Japanese people in NJ & NY should visit Sakurabana.

I will keep the rating 4 until I visit next time.

Best Sushi in the Tri-State area. Firstly - Sit at the Sushi Bar

Secondly - Try to get close to the left wall - it's the best seat in the house

Order the chef special sushi/ sashimi (I get sashimi) - Ken will put together his freshest assortment of fish. The chu-toro is always delicious and the amaebi is fresh - and they'll fry the head for you (if you are brave enough to eat it :))

yummy sushi. of all the fake japanese restaurants in Ridgewood, NJ, this is the only one with real japanese food. my husband and i love coming here with a bottle of our own chardonnay and fill up on their yummy sushi! come early or late or you won't get seated on fridays and saturdays.
