Long Wait, cold food. We've been regulars at this spot for years because the food was great and the prices were reasonable enough.

A 40 minute wait for great food is tolerable, but this time it was 2 HOURS! They said, "The wait is two hours, but check back in a half hour." We checked back twice, then decided to sit at the "Community Table" which was first come, first served. The fish of the day (why we came in the first place) was $30, so we skipped that and had the Fire House Chili as an appetizer. It was cool when it arrived. The chicken sandwich that I ordered was likewise cool. The service was top notch, but that's not enough to make up for the ho-hum meal and over an hour wait. I guess all good things must come to an end.

Great food but long wait. Have been to Houstons several times and would go more often if not for the outrageously long wait time.90 miniutes is entirely too long a wait at 630so we went elsewhere

Best Ribs In the Metro. I frequent this spot regularaly because the food is really good. Although its part of a chain, and it sits in the middle of some other large chain restaurants in Hackensack, NJ Riverside Sq. Mall, this particular one is great. You can not call and make reservations, and if you go anyday during the week, expect at least a 30-40 minute wait, and on the weekends, even longer. The appetizers and salads are excellent. The peel and eat shrimp is amazing. It's fun to eat and they don't just give you 2 pieces of shrimp, it's good, fresh jumbo shrimp. Also, apparently the ribs are amazing. My bf gets them everytime, they're just so juicy and fall right off hte bone. I wouldn't know, I have never eaten the things! I am a big fan of their Ahi Tuna which is absolutely amazing. The salad and entree are spectacular. They cook it just right.

Do not bring your kids here!. My husband and I were asked to leave this restaurant because our 2 year old got upset when the waiter removed her dinner plate, without asking, when she was not done. She did scream but was by no means out of control. The manager was rude and especially unkind to our child. I called the corporate headquarters to share my experience and was told that children are welcome in the restaurant as long as they are "seen and noy heard." Yes, they really said that!

Roomy banquettes and hefty portions typify this polished American grill that's popular for business deals and special occasions.. In Short
Burnished brass and stained wood complement roughly mortared brick and the occasional plant. Amid ubiquitous earth tones, corporate types and small parties (celebrating or simply living large) occupy deep booths done up in fine upholstery and lit from above by pin spotlights. Burgers, prime rib and steaks are the specialties of the house, but the menu also includes salmon, salads, pork chops and roasted chicken.

Great Food. I visited Houston's recently with my fiance and another couple who had come there before.. Even though it was a bit on the pricey side, it proved to be worth it when the food came... The spinach dip and bbq ribs are beyond good... YUM. I will definitely be back there...

rising prices. I like this restaurant, but it seems everytime i go there the price for the meals go up. and they can do that because people always flock to it. i really like it but even though i still crave the hawaian rib eye, i'd rateher go to magianno's, pf changs or mortons if someone's traeting me

Just not recommended. I'd been this place often and food is getting worse. also, it's very very hard to get to the table. They don't take reservations, and they are now REQUIRE the Proper Attire. Which sounds doesn't make sense at all. I always got my seat after I lost my appetite because too much wait for the table. I saw so many people leave before they're getting a table and I did too.

This is not the exotic-fancy restaurant, but I always ended up to wait more than an hour or two.

If you are hungry and would like to have nice time for dinner, this is not the right place. This restaurant ruined many people's dining time and should take reservations.

Not recommended if you're from out of town...... I called to arrange a business dinner for 4 clients coming in from out of town and this restaurant was very unaccomodating. I understand they do not accept reservations, but when I asked if our clients could call in their name when they were on their way, the manager said no. He also informed me that the wait could be over an hour. In fact, he recommended Morton's which is located next door. That says a lot if management is recommending another restaurant.
