Service a little lacking. Way too high priced to have a pompous waiter who has to be asked for everything from water to drinks. We had to even get the big pepper mill ourselves as he asked if we wanted fresh ground pepper and then went on to socialize with another table. Slow food service. Bread is just Shoprite french bread loaded with butter and garlic. No excuses-

Best Crabcakes Anywhere, Best Tuna I Have ever had(Been to Hawaii seven times). Everytime I am in New Jersey I have to stop by "The Shack". The food is amazing. Everyone that works there is super nice. There is no reason to go to another restaurant in the area until you have tried everything on the menu. You might pay a bit more but it's worth every penny! Good fish ain't cheap, CHEAP FISH AIN'T GOOD!!!!!!

Not worth the price. I must say I wasn't very impressed. From the outside the restaurant looks really nice, but once you walk in, its dark and gloomy. For the amount they charge for the food, you would think they'd update the place a little bit. As far as the food goes... I wasn't blown away. It was good, but I don't feel it was worth the price.

high quality fish. As an appetizer I ordered the crab cakes. Wow! While most crab cakes are mostly breading with shredded crabmeat these two were made of large lumps of crab with little breading and cooked perfectly. For my main course I had the seared tuna. When the owner, George, came by the table to ask how our meal was, always a classy move, he told me that the tuna was high sushi grade quality. Not only was the fish delicious, the portion was huge. My wife is not much of a seafood eater and so she had the chicken parm which she loved.

Sea Shack is the place to go if you care about quality AND quantity. If you like heavy or overbearing sauces, you won't find them here. This restaurant lets the quality of the fish stand on its own and matches it with sauces that compliment the fish's fresh flavor.
