After waiting for my food I was rudely told CASH ONLY. I was told to go to a liquor store a few doors down to get cash. I was charged $2.00 by the liquor store ATM in addition to being warned that I may be charged by my bank, too. I promised to have cash in the future and they said, "Good." But when I asked for the $2.00 to be deducted from my food bill and I was stymied by the employees apparent incomprehension of English. Out of nowhere no one working in the restaurant was able to speak or understand English despite the fact that we had chatted while i waited. The place's only saving grace is that it is close to my home but I will never go to Laurel Chinese food again. There are many other options for strip mall Chinese food. Save yourself the aggravation and go elsewhere unless you want to be treated poorly and deal with the fiction of not being understood when speaking English. Never again!
