Terrific Sushi, Great Decor, Great Staff!

We have been dining at Akai since moving to Englewood from Manhattan 2 years ago. The food is always spot on, whether you dine in or take out. The staff is always accomodating and fun. Alexis the bartender has been there since we've been going and makes a terrific drink. It's a nice place to meet your hubby or girlfriends, because their is a small bar you can grab a cocktail at prior to being seated. Now that we have 1 baby and one due anyday, my husband and I order take out from Akai on Fridays. The best fully cooked rolls are the Spider Roll (made with fresh softshells when in season, like NOW!), and the Green River Roll(which combines 4 different cooked fish) and their eel rolls (which melt in your mouth!) Bravo, Akai!
