Soul food: fried green tomatoes, corn bread, fried chicken. Fun atmosphere, Friday night they have a DJ spinning. Must get donuts for dessert!
Swedish-born African-American superchef Marcus Samuellsen's eclectic modern take on soul food has made this chic Harlem restaurant biggest thing since The Cotton Club.
Terrible Service. Kamali, our server, had the worst attitude from the very beginning. We sat down and he didn't smile or greet us in any way. He didn't smile the entire time we were there. He made us feel like we were bothering him. We definitely won't return. Food was mediocre.
the interior decor was almost the death of me and friend.. I read about RR in magazines and was referred by a coworker. When i finally reach were told the restaurant doesnt open until 530p, So we left and came back. We came back 1/2 hour latr and was seated downstairs. As i was removing my coat i hit a drape that was hiding another side of restuarant yet revealed in which i inadvertently toppled a wall non stationary over. luckily it fell over in the opposite direction. we were moved to another table where my crony knocked over book fixtures which were situated a little too close for comfort to candles. The waiter comes over and says " its ok". uuuh , no its not ok. Our food takes an entire hour to come. The waiter doesnt apologize and when we leave my boyfriend had to be the one to say have a great evening. . Shouldnt it be the other way around?? Unfortunately, I dont think im going back.
