Such an amazing experience!! I went to Chrysalis Hair Salon to get red ombré for my hair. This salon is one of the only salons on the Island that can pull it off!! I have gotten my ombre hair done by Gina, Matt, and Samantha. They all know the latest trends and know exactly how to replicate these styles! I was getting so many compliments on my hair from strangers that I started carrying business cards from Chrysalis, because so many people were asking! If you're deciding where to get your hair done, look no further!!

I have been going to Chrysalis for over a year now and love the place. It's a casual and relaxed atmosphere but they offer the latest styles and trends that I see in the city. Everyone seems great there but I go to Mona. She's awesome!

Very friendly staff and great service. I've been a customer of this salon for years. They are always extremely friendly and warm and do a fantastic job. I've always had great haircuts and would recommend this salon to anyone.

Horrible, Rude and Wrecked my Hair. I have been going to the same great stylist for years. She was on vacation and I made the worst mistake by going to this hell hole. I walked in the place with 3 people behind the counter and not one person looked up to acknowledge me. I sat down and finally someone spoke. Julie the stylist, who didn?t speak, ruined my hair and should go back to beauty school. She made my hair jet black with yellow uneven highlights, mind you I asked for medium brown with light brown highlights. It seemed like it was her first time doing hair and I had to keep explaining over and over what I wanted. When it was done I looked like Elvira. I asked for 2 inches off and she trimmed the ends where you couldn't even see it was cut. I stupidly paid almost 200 for this disaster. I should have refused to pay. The assistant got hair dye all over my face then instead of wiping it off for me gave me a rag to wipe it off myself. I never heard of such a thing in my life. When I got home, I was horrified to see the bottom of my hair was about 5 shades darker and spotty compared to the top. I went back the next day to see the owner, told her this was not the color I asked for and she told me oh there's nothing I can do it'll lighten. Even my boyfriend said it didn't look right, and he's a guy lol. I ended up having to use a color remover on my hair, so obviously they lied; there was a way to remove this. Then go back to my usual stylist have it redyed and thank god the hideous highlights and black hair are gone. I should have gone with my gut and left this place like I was going to when I walked in. The people in this place are the most unprofessional, rudest people I've ever met. Instead of correcting their obvious mistake or refunding my money they did nothing. Beware of this place.

Chrysalis makes you shine like a chrystal!. Want a terrific European facial? Go to Lynda! She gives top knotch treatment in this field. Also want to look your best on a Saturday night...Melissa does a great job on the hair and Nina adds the finishing touches with subtle and sophisticated make-up! They certainly know how to turn drab into fab in a matter of 60 minutes! They even offer free bagels and cookies to their morning customers!
