I ate at Duo for the first time last Wednesday for a business dinner. It was so good I had to bring my family back this past weekend. The staff took great care to make sure both experience were great. I will go back again and again. It's a place to go for all types of occasions.

I have eaten lunch here several times and last night dinner for the first time. The service was impeccable from the hostess to the waiter to the bus boy. The waiter was knowledgeable about the food, the wines and was efficient and courteous. And the food---just superb. I have eaten in all the top restaurants in ny and duo belongs right up there

This is my go to restaurant in NYC. The food's great and the menu is diverse enough to answer most any craving. Eating at the bar is fun and social (even if you're on your own) and table service is also very good. My favorites are their duo of tuna, calamari salad, branzino, and hangar steak. I hardly ever have room for dessert, but the hazelnut layer is awesome!

I adore this place. The service is incredible and the food is beyond fresh and tasty. The food is presented in a pretty way, while making sure there are many layers of flavor. I would say the food is as close to perfect as it gets. I have never walked out of here hungry- just perfectly full and perfectly content, unlike some high end restaurants, where the dishes are tiny and I need another meal after I leave. I recommend this place with confidence that all who go will enjoy and leave satisfied

We stopped in here for dinner during an evening out in NYC, and we were all happily satisfied with the entire experience. The food was fantastic - the salmon was exceptional - and the wine list was extensive enough to warrant a few return visits. The service was first rate: waitress was polite, prompt and pleasant. All the other staff were very welcoming and seemed to care if we were having a good time. This is why duo is definitely worth a lunch or dinner.

Very nice menu selection, great happy hour specials and very reasonable prices. Everything we ordered was excellent, even the salads were a cut above the rest. The food arrived quickly and delivered by a friendly, attentive, polite staff. My husband and I are sticklers for good service and Duo was a winner. You didn't have to search for your waitress, there was always someone close by more than willing to help with any questions or needs you might have. Decor was out right stunning and clean with pleanty of room to spread out which is a rare find in a NYC restaurant. Overall a great experience sure to please the most discerning diner.

Recently went here to celebrate some birthdays and loved the unique and sophisticated setting, had some of the most fantastic and satisfying food ever. The veal Osso bucco tortellini was a true standout, with such wonderful contrasts of flavor and texture, right down to every detail, that it ranks as the best preparations of this dish I've ever encountered. But truly, everything, even the wine, was great. The service could not have been lovelier. The noise level was perfect. You could hear your tablemates, but there was a pleasant buzz around you so that you couldn't actually hear anyone else's conversation. I'll be back!

I have lived in NY my whole life. I must say that Duo may be my favorite restaurant ever! Not only is the food delicious and prepared to perfection, the service is also impeccable. I enjoy every dish that I eat there and the desserts are fantastic!! The decor is beautiful and unique as well. All in all, duo is the place to be!

Great place to go either for lunch or dinner. I have been there for both. For lunch I always get one of the lunch boxes. I enjoy the variety the boxes offer all in one dish. For dinner I always order the grilled salmon b/c it's the best I have ever eaten--perfect. Very slightly crunchy on the outside, served at the perfect temp, fragrant, tender, and melt-in-your-mouth yummy. The duck salad appetizer also a favorite of mine. All desserts I have tried are heavenly and no matter how full I am I can never resist ordering one. The decor is stunning (love the floating crystal chandelier and the hanging crystals at the bar)! The atmosphere is fun, busy, and delicious, definitely go.

Business associates first suggested Duo. I went with some friends for there great happy hour specials. The bar area is extremely glamourous. It was a beautiful evening, the windows were open and it was wonderful. The bartender was attentive, knowledgeable and interesting. The truffle pizza special was perfect to go along with our delicious drinks. I have returned regularly since and usually have a full dinner in the dining room. Duo is such a cool spot - the food and drinks are amazing, and our servers and bartenders are aways very accomdating.  I always have so much fun!! I can't wait to go back!
