BEST BURGER EVER!!. I don't care what anyone says, "This is the best burger place I've ever been to". Not to say you can't find a better burger elsewhere (good luck) but this by far was the best! The burger was so juicy and moist, decent size (not too big or too small), had the right ingredients. I couldn't stop talking about it! The fries were nothing special but was decent. Ordered a pint of their 5 Napkin beer and it was the perfect setting for a great evening. The only downside to this place is the wait. I didn't make reservations and not sure if they take reservations for a party of 2 so we waited about 40 mins on a Friday nite which wasn't that bad considered the tourist location. Ordered a beer at the bar. You could order food at the bar if you don't want to wait. It's a bit cramp. Tables are very close together. Prices were decent. People complain about spending $15 for a burger! If it's that good, I don't mind spending a few extra dollars. It's not like it's fast food type burgers. Plus, your in a touristy location. What do you expect? Service wasn't that great. Our waiter placed our ordered but never stopped by again until we waived him for the bill. If you looking for a great, tasty burger, this is the place to go!

Big Time Rip-Off (it's ground chuck, people). The burger is big and it is juicy and tasty, but $15! Give me a break. It's ground chuck for God's sake. They make a point of bragging about that as if it's some top grade meat. Chuck is the cheapest cut of ground beef there is. And it comes with a miniscule side portion of of McDonald's quality fries. For that money there should be a ton of thick-cut homemade fries and slaw and some other sides as well. There are burgers as good if not better for much fairer prices all around town. I encourage you to seek them out and leave this one to the pretentious social climbers.

Ahi Tuna Burger!!. The decor is very cool..I think the meat hooks as decorations are a nice touch. Reminded me a little of pasts (on a much bigger scale) especially the communal bathroom sink.

Anyway, getting back on track to the food... DF ordered the Chicken, Noodle & Matzo Ball Soup app which was DELICIOUS!! who would think that a burger place had quality matzo ball soup? Next time I'm getting my own.. I opted for the Southwestern special sushi roll (spicy yellowtail, cilantro, asparagus, scallion soy wrapper, jalapeno & tobiko) which was really good! (FYI they don't do any subs on the rolls)

For entrees, my boy got the Inside Out Burger on a bun which he said was good and I got the Ahi Tuna Burger which was incredible! Absolutely delcious..i licked my plate clean..then finished off my boy's fries. All burgers come with fries which were crispy and seasoned well. They give a generous amount of fries with your burger which was nice.

I know a lot of people complained about the spotty service, but we came in around 8:00pm on a Wednesday night and got seated immediately. Our waiter was really quick and never disappeared on us.

All in all had a good experience! Only downside is I'm not too crazy about Hell's Kitchen and don't make it down there often. The place was noisy but we didn't expect any less. I'm salivating thinking about that Ahi Tuna Burger..will def make it back there soon!

Must visit spot in NYC. Coming down from Boston on the occasional business trip I always face the “outsider” dilemma: Where is a good place to eat? By now, I got burned enough times landing the wrong place that I would hesitate asking a dining advice from my friends. Now I finally found the right spot and the cure for my burgerphobia: This is simply the BEST burger I have ever had. They guys perfected it to an art form. And get this: This place is not a standard burger joint but rather an upbeat contemporary burger-centric restaurant. How cool is that. The entire place, just like it’s name, is simply genius!

Service was too good.. Food mediocre. I went here on a second date. I have been wanting to go to this place for about 7 months. When I got there the staff was nice and they seated us right away. The waitress was almost too good. Everytime my date and I would get into a god part of the conversation she would come over and ask us if we were ok. Which I guess was ok and not the problem of the wait staff. Then the food came out and it was ok. edible at best. I have had a better burger. I love to eat burgers. They should really change the name of this place to something else because "burger" should not be mentioned in the title. So then I asked for the check and it took about 10 minutes to get me the check. It seems that if they were so into making sure that we were ok during the meal that we would be ok after the meal. If you want a good burger... go someplace else.

Leave the Tater Tot Alone. Dined with a group of 7 for a friends birthday. Everyone really enjoyed their meal. The lamb burger was very good and well cooked. I reccomend the southwestern tuna roll for app, but stay away from the spinach dip. As a lover of tater tots i was disapointed when i substituted for a dollar extra what i consider a "potato popper". It wasn't that classic crisp tot. it was more like fried mash potatoes, the fries were much better. Great beer selection, but their tequila is way over priced.

Great food, lots of options. Don't listen to the other negative reviews - I live and work in Hell's Kitchen and this is one of the best burgers you will find in the hood - oddly, they have good salads, fish/vegetarian options and sushi too, so don't let the name of the joint persuade you that it's going to be a heavy gut busting meal.

Try going during the week to avoid weekend out of towner crowds (the whole neighborhood's pretty much like this on the weekend), and I'd suggest avoiding the brunch menu items, which I found to be just average. I'm a local and on the weekday nights, it's mostly other HK locals like me.

The service can be slow, but this is a new place and hopefully the kitchen will get its act together soon.

Terrible Food, Terrible Service.. Four of us went on a Saturday night for a bite to eat. The hostess was the only pleasant part of our experience. Our waiter was distracted, rude, and ignored us. We would have purchased more drinks and tried other things on the menu but he was very disinterested in helping us. The burgers themselves were just okay...lacked flavor and basic seasonings. You're better off going to your basic burger joint...overpriced and not worth it.

Overrated burgers and overpriced menu. The burger was just okay and certainly not worth $15. Each entree was generally overpriced as were the drinks compared to similar restaurants. If you want, a good burger, go to your local coffee shop.
