Incredibly poor services. Don't use CitySights NY ( yellow &.
We bought a 48 hours pass for our family of five from one of their several salesmen that you can find on every street corner. They are so pushy that will not leave you until you buy a ticket from them. They don't care if their company does not have enough buses to give acceptable services to the customers.
The bus line supervisor at their battery park station was so rude that took all of the passengers of downtown tour bus. We were waiting for this bus for almost one hour under rain and cold windy weather and found ourselves very lucky to get on one of their very few fully covered buses. He started to argue with us when we were complaining about being seated on uncovered part of another bus.
Their very limited | that after a long time waiting on the lines, you will be stuck on an open top deck with only a small number of seats covered by the plexiglass that is scrapped so you cant't see anything. But we were not even lucky enough to take those seats and ended up to be at the open part of strong that we had to take off the bus on first station and get back to the hotel as there was no way to use their buses on the cold and rain condition. That totally destroyed our first day of total two days visiting NYC.
Our next day experience with CitySight company was not pleasant as well. The downtown tour guid was very rude and teasing almost anyone on the bus. He was an old man pertaining to be a professional photographer. He was Pushing for getting tips and were making fun of everyone who was not giving tips. Our uptown tour guide was a nice lady though from RI and very knowledgeable.
Because of their not sufficient number of buses and poor services we decided to return back by subway and not even trying their Brooklyn and Skyline Cruise tours.
My suggestion is to do your self a favor and never use CitySight tours as their buses maybe useable only on good weather and only for half part of the top deck for which you need to be waiting on the lines for several hours because they have already sold thousands of tickets for their very limited available seats. Use either public buses and subway or Grey Line services instead.
