Editorial Review for Holiday Inn – by Robyn Galbos
In Short
Since its 1952 debut in Memphis, Tenn., Holiday Inn has become one of the most recognized hotel brands in the world. Kids rule here: Children age 19 and younger stay for free when sharing a parent's room and as many as four children per family (age 12 or younger) eat for free at hotel restaurants. Other amenities include 24-hour business services, an in-room coffeemaker, iron, hair dryer, room service, a swimming pool and a fitness center.

User Reviews for Holiday Inn

I expected a lot more out of this hotel for the price I paid. Room service was quick, and like another review said-the walls were too way too thin. I received complaints on our loudness all 4 nights we stayed. Customer service was the WORST ever, I have never experienced service this bad. The hotel manger named Leon was no help at all, which is a sad story. He refused to help me out on THEIR mistake of charging the hotel bill on the wrong credit card. He accused me of lying, and doesn't even know what Holiday's Inn receipts look like! Even though this hotel had a good location, if you don't want to deal with undertrained customer service reps. and an unknowledgable hotel manager, go to another hotel and get your moneys worth. Good luck, and tons of fun in NYC
Pros: location
Cons: , price, thin walls

Besides having a room the size of shoebox, the walls are definately not soundproof. I heard the shower running nextdoor, the doors closing and barely slept all night.
Pros: good location
Cons: , limited amenities
