I had a flood in my apartment & these guys were amazing!!!. I moved into a new apartment on April 1st and within 1 week I had a flood from the apt above me. My living room and bedroom furniture were brand new and I still had clothing and personal items in boxes yet to be unpacked. The wooden floors were so badly damaged that I had to move everything out for 3 weeks while they were fixed. The super of my bdg told me to call Chelsea Mini Storage and I did and what a relief. Within 1 days notice they sent their moving company who were so fast and efficient and careful with my new furniture and even reboxed about 20 or 30 boxes for me.

At a time when I was so stressed I couldn't think straight, Chelsea Mini Storage saved me. The service that the guys on the phone sold me was excatly what I received and they even had a concierge at the facility who walked me through the process while my things were being loaded in. As you can imagine I used their movers to move me back out again and even though I only used their services for 1 month I will recommend them to anyone who is in need!

These guys are life savers and soooo friendly...

Avoid this THIEVING storage company at all costs!. I'm an NYU student, and I was looking for somewhere in NYC to store my stuff over this past summer when I was studying abroad in Madrid. I chose terribly, because I picked Chelsea Mini Storage. When I returned to NYC in the fall, I went to open my unit. Oddly, neither of my two security keys worked. They said they would give me a "complimentary" lock-cutting... how "nice" of them. When I entered the room, I realized that someone (almost certainly an employee) stole my $700 flatscreen TV out of the unit. Clearly, they busted the lock, took the TV out, and put an identical lock back on the door. Chelsea Mini Storage denied I ever put the television in there in the first place -- and then refused to let me see security footage from over the summer. I submitted a claim to my student insurance and eventually got my money back, but that is neither here nor there -- the point is that a Chelsea Mini Storage is NOT a trustworthy company. AVOID THIS THIEVING STORAGE COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

Amazing staff & facility! Highly recommended!. These guys are amaaaazing!! The service was superb (literally couldn't have asked for a more helpful, pleasant, and professional staff). They went above and beyond my expectations and made my move extremely easy. As for the facility, it is clean, secure, and in a very decent area of Manhattan. This place comes highly recommended!

Rip off. They insist on a security deposit but refuse to refund it.. They insist on a security deposit, they wont let you use it to pay for the last month and they refuse to refund the security deposit. They have been saying the check is in the mail for three months. The last time I called the person I spoke to hung up on me. I called consumer affairs to file a complaint, lets see if that makes a difference.
