Quite good

I really enjoyed my food from this restaurant! I went with five others and we all left satisfied both with the food and the service we recieved. Myself and my friends will most certainly be back!

Best Diner in NYC By far

After reading the review of MMR I realized who this insane woman is. On Sept 17, 2009 I was sitting directly behind this woman in the next booth. Let me begin by saying it saddens me to see people of her age with absolutely no respect for anyone. The waitress, who is a sweetheart, came over and tried to help accommodate the woman but to no avail. The woman screamed 3 times to step away from the table leading the waitress to run in the back in tears. After that incident the manager came over very graciously trying to accommodate the lady but unfortunately when you’re serving crazy people there is no way in satisfying them. The manager offered to make her a new meal or get her something else even offering them complimentary dessert but the lady just continued in her tyrant ways screaming and threatening the manager for no reason. This lady continued threatening this poor man leaving him no options. Calmly the manager took the plates off the table and asked her and the gentleman she was with to leave the establishment. The funniest part of this experience was that the man accompanying the lady actually turned to me and apologized for her actions, then turned to the manager and apologized to him for her actions. The way the manager handled that situation made me believe that it is one of the safest and friendliest establishments that I have ever been to. If the manager didn’t respond to her the time he did I was tempted to remove her myself. Never in my life have I experience such a rude and classless person taking out her frustration on anyone and everyone.

As for the food in the place it’s defiantly a high quality product. My bacon on my turkey club was defiantly fresh as was the turkey and mayo. There are many establishments over the years that I have gone to that the mayo is old or the bacon is precooked and you can tell that at Skylight diner the food is always fresh. Service is great and the environment is very much like home. Thank you skylight diner for making my experience with you guys a great one. You can count on me as being a regular customer from now on!!!!!!

PICTURES TOO) SKYLIGHT DINER SCAMS CUSTOMERS-ENGAGES IN FRAUD AND DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES

COOKED EARLY IN THE MORNING FOR A DINNER ORDER, THE BACON PACKED WITH GREASE, COLD

NOT FRESH, HARD AS A ROCK , STALE BREAD,

INSTEAD OF SAYING THEY WERE SORRY THE

MGR/SON'S OWNER. YELLS AT US FOR COMPLAINING

AND TAKES OUR COLLEGUES SALAD AWAY TOO

VULGAR, LOW CLASS PURE SCAM ARTISTS ENGAGED IN FRAUD PASSING

ALONG A PIECE OF BACON MADE AT 7AM FOR 7PM

IT TURNS OUT THERE IS AN ONGOING INVESTIGATION

FOR QUITE SOME TIME BY SEVERAL REGULATORY AGENCIES - WE PLAN ON DOING

A NEWS STORY ON THIS DINER THEY SHOULD BE

OUT OF BUSINESS, NO CUSTOMER CARE, NO

CUSTOMER SERVICE, INSTEAD HE TRIES TO

DEFLECT THE TRUTH ABOUT THE OLD BACON

AND BREAD BY ATTEMPTING TO SCARE US

NOW HE IS UNDER INVESTIGATION AND WE INTEND TO GET HIM FINED, ALSO SOME TALK

ABOUT THE IRS ON THIS RESTURANCT PER

RESEARCH DONE WITH SEVERAL REGUALATORY

AGENCIES MONITORING THEM-------------------------

ANY ONE WHO SCAMS CUSTOMERS SHOULD BE
