The Scene – The dearth of decent restaurants around FIT has allowed Gus' Figs a certain renown. Lunchtime in particular draws a surfeit of professors, who seem to be able to set aside their sense of aesthetics where the drab interior is concerned. I work in the area, and there are hardly and decent restaurants-- except for Figs. It is a hidden gem.
The greek salad is fabulous, along with the stuffed grape leaves and mussel appetizer. The price is amazing for the quality of food!

Went there with a friend, we shared appetizers, and lots of them, because it was just too difficult to choose from this menu! What a tempting selection, and the seafood was really great. Attentive service and nice ambience contributed to a great "girl's night out"! Will be back.
