There are alot of shoe repair places all over the city. And for repairing a broken heel or sole, or any basic shoe repair, almost any cobbler will do a good job. My girlfriend wanted to tighten a strap on some sandals that had loosened over time. After talking to about 5 cobblers, this place was the only one willing to take the job. They did a pretty good job. On a side note, they also do all sorts of leather repairs (handbags, jackets, etc.).
