This is an incredible service. Fast, reliable, safe, kind, on-time and friendly.

I can't recommend these guys enough!

I just love these guys. Too funny that the review below mentions Paul. I've had him too! I thought he was good, just a little talky for my taste. I've liked others who they've sent better than Paul. Hilda is great. Very kind-hearted and moves quickly which I love. Halina was the best ever, but be prepared to pay for a couple of extra hours for her. She's not fast, but she doesn't miss a trick. They'll set you up with the same cleaner every time if you want, but I usually call on short notice, so my first choice is often unavailable and I can't afford to lock in to a regular appointment every week so I've had more than a handful of their cleaners over the years.

Reliable. This cleaner did a job while I was out of town and needed the place cleaned for incoming guests. My guests were happy. Moreover, Paul was extremely understanding of my situation, so he communicated with me the same day, in a way that I could feel confident that he had done the contracted work.

Worked for and Used this Company. This company is fantastic. When it was first conceived, it was primarily actors. Not sure if it still is, but it wasn't uncommon to see the faces of your apartment cleaner on an Off-Broadway stage. No kidding.

They offer great service, high standards, trustworthy cleaners...I just flat out don't believe the comment about the cleaner needing to be escorted from someone's apartment. I would like to hear the cleaner's perspective on that.

And, when I used to clean, it might take 2 hours to get very little done if the products available are not really strong, and of course depending on the amount of dirt that's available. I remember having one woman want all her blinds cleaned AND behind her stove, all before dark because she was Kosher and wanted to cook dinner on a Friday afternoon. The blinds needed to be REPLACED, and the stove did not fit right back into its slot. I spent a LONG time trying to push that back in.

So, those of you who are complaining, ask yourself if you set your cleaner up for success, or did you leave them with a nubby broom, an almost empty bottle of Windex, and 2 sheets of cheap papertowels? Or, did you lay out for some decent stuff? Do you have a vacuum cleaner? Many people would shrug that off and offer some dust buster. You do the best with what you've got.

Set the cleaner up for success and you'll have a clean apartment!

GREAT service!!. I think that most people like to shout the negatives from the rooftops but rarely take the time to share a truly positive experience--which is why I want to let whomever is reading this know that we had the BEST experience with this service!! We have used them for the past two years and have had consistently the most professional, trustworthy and detailed oriented cleaners. The company itself is amazingly responsive: they sincerely want to hear feedback. I have recommended this service to several people with total confidence--including my Mother in Law, who is one tough customer--she is thrilled. It's not easy to open the doors of your home to a stranger-but I can do so with confidence working through White Glove. Great service!

Fantastic Service. I have been using White Glove for many years. I started using them only occasionally, and every time i had a new cleaner they did an excellent job. There was always great follow through from the office to find out how everything went. Also there was never any pressure to rebook, just a simple reminder that they were there when we needed them. We ended up booking a regular cleaner with them, who now is like a member of the family. This is a great service.

Endangered my pets. Some of the cleaners I've had from White Glove Elite were fabulous. Some of the cleaners were so-so. One of these so-so cleaners, for instance, didn't clean under my ottoman, but actually swept the dirt up underneath it (this I realized later that night when I moved my ottoman over to reach something on a high shelf and found a pile of dirt underneath).

Some of them have shown up late. One of their cleaners showed up 45 minutes late, causing me to miss an appointment. When I called the company to ask for a discount, they acted like I was being a diva. "We don't give discounts. In fact, NO ONE has ever asked for a discount before. You're the first."

But the worst experience I had with them was when they endangered my pet parakeets. It was a Friday morning and I was leaving straight for the airport for a wedding and wanted to have a nice clean apartment waiting for me when I got back. It was pretty obvious I wasn't going to be back for a few days. I had just finished packing when the cleaner arrived and left with a big suitcase on wheels. It was in the 50s that weekend. When I returned three days later my apartment was freezing. They'd left both of my windows halfway open. One window led out to a fire escape (easy access for burglars). The other window was directly in front of my parakeets' cage. They sat there all weekend with 50-degree winds blowing on them. When I called up White Glove and told them what happened ("Honestly, it's a miracle that the birds survived," I said.), they replied, "Oh. Thanks for letting us know. We'll make a note of it." No apology, no offer to refund my money or make amends in any way. Pretty unprofessional.

Fanstatic, reliable cleaning. I have used White Glove Elite on several occassions over the last 10 years to fill in between regular cleaning help, and have always been extremely satisfied. I recently called them as I was having trouble nailing down more permanent help and the apartment with two kids and three cats was in dire need of attention. the cleaner arrived on time (even in terrible weather and after getting lost) and went right to work with no fuss. He cleaned EVERY INCH of the apartment, organized the Thomas tracks as well as all the other toys and books, scrubbed, mopped and polished everything. the apartment glowed when he returned. I'm still finding nifty things he did and creative ways he organized our mess. I'm one of those people who love when someone else makes my clutter go away, and away it went! If my regular cleaning lady hadn't resurfaced after a hiatus of three weeks, I'd make this guy permanent. Other's may find this service unpredictable, but I give it an A+.

Had to have cleaner escorted out of my apartment. I laughed when I read the below review because it so uncannily described my most recent experience. I have hired cleaners from White Glove Elite in the past with very positive results. Then, last week, our cleaner showed up and had an attitude from the moment she walked in the door. After 2 hours she had finished only our kitchen, although coincidentally my nanny was out for about 1.5 hours of those 2. After 4.5 hours she had finished our kitchen and 1 bedroom. When I complained to the company, they told me she was "one of [their] best cleaners" and that I had to pay her the full amount. They never offered me a fix of any sort. When my nanny gave the cleaner the check to the nearest 15minutes (why round up when someone hasn't done the job?) she starting screaming, saying we were petty people and refusing to leave. My husband had to go home from work AND we had the doorman go to escort her out to be sure my kids were safe. When my husband then called the company, they apologized but, again, made no offer to remedy the situation. Suffice it to say this is the last time we will call White Glove Elite.

Never again, horrible customer service experience. This was my first time having a professional house cleaning-- it was a gift to me and I was very excited and thought I researched cleaning companies well. The person who came to clean my house was nice-- I showed her around, gave her my cleaning supplies, and was home throughout the 4-hour minimum cleaning time. I checked in a few times to see if there was anything she needed.

At the end of the 4-hour cleaning, only my front hall and bathroom had been cleaned. Since I was home the whole time, I heard the cleaner working so I just figured she was very slow and overly perfectionistic, so I felt confused-- I paid the full price and figured I'd talk it over with people I knew who'd had cleaning services before. Naturally, friends and family were shocked at this story and convinced me to call and complain.

I called the company, who contacted the cleaning person. The response was that she didn't like my cleaning products (other than a spray bottle of 10% bleach solution and Murphy's oil soap, the rest were natural cleaning products). I told the company that I wasn't told this despite being home for the entire 4 hours-- I could have bought new products since I live 1/2 block from stores. After a few phone calls I was told that the company owner would call me back.

3 weeks from the day of the cleaning I still hadn't heard back from the owner. I was told that the owner was away for several months. Surprised, I was told something along the lines of 'we don't have to tell you every detail of the owners' schedule'... I asked for $30 cash back (I paid $88 for the 4 hours). They said all they could give me was 1 1/2 hrs of credit. There is a 4-hr minimum, so after explaining that the credit was worthless to me since I no longer wanted to do business with them, they still offered no other options.

Final word on my experience- Poor and rude customer service. Unwilling to remedy an obvious problem with a reasonable (and cheap-- $30!) solution.
