User Reviews for Midtown Tennis Club

1 Star Rating: Not Recommended

Total disappointment. The tennis club was extremely run down, flithy, and the clay courts are a disaster. They are not even level. There are noticeably large bumps, like a small hill, in the middle of the tennis courts. You can't see the baseline when you are serving to the other side. And the distance between the baseline and the chain linked fence is barely 12ft when generally the distance is 21ft. I couldn't do a full swing at the baseline because the racket would make contact with the chain linked fence. Overall the facility was a dump and I wouldn't even play there for free! That's how bad it is.

Pros: None

Cons: Tennis courts are disasterous, facility is flithy and outdated

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

The group lessons have been really been helping me to improve my game. Depending on the people that are in the classes it can be a lot of fun, the instructers are super helpful and not bad looking. I had to make sure I registered early but it has been worth it.

Pros: location, friendly staff

Cons: groups sell out quickly
