Really, really nice, friendly office. Really, really nice, friendly office. I called to make an appointment and the receptionist didn't think they took my insurance, but did some investigating and called me back the next day to tell me that I was covered.

During my first visit, the receptionist sat down with me and explained what my insurance would and wouldn't cover and made sure that I understood everything before I went in.

Great dental practice!. I've never experienced the "sell mode" either that another reviewer spoke of. I've only experience quality service. I've had multiple standard cleanings now and they have all been great.

Appointment started promptly on time, very thorough with all the X-Rays, great cleaning experience, dentists all were very information in how I can be more proactive in keeping my teeth healthy, the facilities were immaculate, and I've always been treated with care.

I would def recommend going here for your dental needs. I had gone to other dental offices prior where my appointments never started on time, I'd be there for hours on end and they didn't seem to give me the same care that I received here. They are definitely a stand out difference.

Top Notch dental carev. I'm really happy that I've found this place - they give top-notch dental care and are incredibly nice. No upselling, no scolding. (Flossing every day? Never going to happen. If I do it every other day, I'm doing well. And they know this and don't pass judgment.) I usually leave with a big bag of free samples and a new toothbrush, and I particularly appreciate that the cleaning is built into the appointment, so that I don't have to schedule it separately.

Dr. V is my regular dentist, and she's awesome. She's attentive and pleasant to work with. Their on-site root canal specialist was also easy to work with, and when I had some problems with the tooth after the fact, he took time to come into my appointment with Dr. V and figure out what was wrong. I've always been able to get in right away and most of the time I'm not kept waiting. There was one memorable day when several emergencies cropped up at once and I wound up sitting in the chair, numbed to the gills, watching the entirety of "When Harry Met Sally" on the little TV monitor mounted to the ceiling of the exam room, but I gave them another chance and have never been sorry.

A feature I both love and hate is that they've lately taken to scheduling my checkups for me without ME having to go to THEM. It IS a little intrusive and presumptuous, but on the other hand, if left to my own devices, I probably wouldn't faithfully get a cleaning and checkup every six months like I'm supposed to, so I don't particularly mind.

1. Great Practice. After years of mulling and being unenthusiastic about dental upkeep, I have become an enthusiast thanks to 34th Street Dental. It helps that I had to go back within the week but the receptionists actually remembered my name during my return visit. That means a lot to me in this busy city where you're used to just being a number.

To top it off, all the hygienists and doctors are very friendly, attractive, and accomodating. Well, the women at least - I can't say I spotted any men working here... what? No, I know there's at least two, but i haven't met them yet.

I would recommend this Dental Practice to anyone who's looking for a place to go to long-term.

Unbelievable results!. I've been going to these Dr. Mark and his brother for years. They're both great, as is just about everyone who works in the office. I've had some cavities and other issues and they've been excellent about taking care of them. Nice guys who remember me and my family and make the experience fairly pleasant (certainly for a dentist). As for parking (which another reviewer complained about), I always find a street/meter spot nearby, which saves a lot of trouble and expense.

Excellnt Experience. Absolutely the best experience I have ever had in a Dentist Office. Prior to visiting this office I had always been petrified of Dentists, however, the X=rays taken by Sabrina and my cleaning by Stacey was so wonderful; I actually almost fell asleep in the chair. NO PAIN AT ALL. My exam by the Dentist was oh so smooth. I love these people, I LOVE THEIR WORK. IF YOU ARE AFRAID OF THE DENTIST AS I WAS. TRUST ME; GO HERE YOU WILL NEVER BE AFRAID AGAIN

Great Experience!. Going to the dentist isn't usually a pleasant experience unless you are fortunate enough to find 34th Street Dental. From the young women at the reception desk to the hygenists and dentists, everyone is very cordial and accomodating. I've never waited more than 5 minutes to be seen from the time I enter the office - delightful! I make appointments on my lunch hour and am usually in and out in 30-40 minutes. The cleanings are thorough, always gentle and the docs make sure you understand whatever recommendations they make regarding your treatment. It really is about patient satisfaction at 34th Street Dental!

Great Practice. 34th St. Dental is a wonderful organization and literally saved my smile! After falling and breaking my 4 front teeth I thought I would never look the same again. Thanks to the talented and experienced dentists and the kind-hearted nurses, my teeth are completely restored. I get compliments on my porcelain veneers all the time!!

Great Dentist. This is a nice, clean dental office in NYC. The reception desk girls are friendly, although not exactly fast with their service. I usually don't wait very long to get into my appointment. I had an thorough tooth cleaning here as well as work done on root canals by Dr. Koppelman. He is an excellent and personable dentist!!!!! Makes you feel very comfortable and his numbing injections are painless!
