Mediocre food - rude waiter
by donlee49
My visit there for a quick lunch was marred by a very rude waiter - who was rude when taking my order and when I was about to leave asked me why I had not left a tip which I had left in the box at the cashier's desk. When I was dining there, I noticed the same waiter being rude to an elderly Caucasian gentleman as well. This waiter gives the place a bad name and I would avoid the place like the plague. You can get equally good if not better basic Chinese food elsewhere in Chinatown.
worst service ever!!!!

The food are small and bad service. They charge you for everything, for example extra soy sauce, duck sauce, ginger scallion for the chicken!!! How can you charge extra for that. After they charge you they say some comments in chinese which I dont understand. Very rude!!! I will never go back there again, I rather just walk further for a better service and a better meal!
- Pros: none
- Cons: bad service
Quick local dive for delicious cheap cantonese chinese food, roast pork, soy sauce chicken, ribs, won ton noodle soup
by streetmaven1223
I live in the neighborhood and have frequented this place for years. They serve typical cantonese fare and offer chinese 'bbq' too. They do a brisk take out which is a testament to their local popularity. Most diners are locals and the staff has a limited command of english but they are attentive to having customers point out what they want. The menu is in chinese and english but not pictures. I would recommend an order of roast pork 'the ones hanging in windows whole' they make several of them per day to keep up with the daily take out also the other stuff like the soy sauce chicken, roast duck, ribs, and roast pork (char sui). They have all kinds of noodles, rice(fried, white with sides) that are about 5 dollars. I usually order salt pepper squid, peking pork chops, stir fried broad noodles beef, or amoy chow mei fun(or the spicy version 'singapore rice noodles'). They also have typical stuff like beef with broccoll. Its off the beaten path but worth the try for a quick bite when your in the area.
