Best Vet Ever!
by NoraMaya at Citysearch
I used to live around the corner from the office. We brought both our Golden and Lab there and later we moved to Brooklyn and still brought them to see Dr Weiner because no other vet could compete.
We later added 4 more dogs to our family and we still bring them to Dr Weiner.
When our golden died our first lost in our family we brought him to the office because we did not know what to do. We later found out from his wife that he cried too after we left.
Dr Weiner is like family and I can't ever think of bring my dogs anywhere else. He has seen me grow up and because of him I hope to one day work with animals as well.
Kindest vet... real New Yorker with a heart

We've been going to Dr. Weiner for the past 5 years. We tried one other vet who really gouged us financially with unnecesary tests and bloated pricing, as well as a general lack-of-concern for our needs.
The bohemian qualities of Dr. Ted & Linda Weiner definitely stand out. It is clear they love their work, and truly bond with the animals they are helping.
Even when we went through the loss of my 17 year old Lhasa Apso, the treatment was humane and caring, like you might expect from a family member.
Manhattan veterinary pricing is high, like most everything else, but if you are going to have pets here, that is part of the deal. At least when you are spending that money at Gotham, you can be confident that you are truly getting a value for the expenditure.
- Pros: Loving approach, professional, yet feels like family
- Cons: Hours are a little bizarre, but navigatible
Absolutely wonderful!

They were great. I was a new client, my cat had a problem and they stayed late to take care of him without rushing and were honestly concerned for my cat's well being and super nice. I highly recommend them. The Weiners are so nice & really care for you and your pet. They are truly honest, caring people and couldn't imagine taking my cats to anyone else.
- Pros: Super nice, Didn't rush, Honest & Caring, Considerate
- Cons: none
Warm, Friendly, Caring - the best vet an animal lover can ask for

I've been going to Gotham for about 6 years. Dr. Weiner, Linda, and the entire staff at Gotham have given my dog so much love and care - they are the best!! My dog has had a number of sicknesses, and Dr. Weiner was really skilled at knowing what to do to treat him in the quickest and most pain-free way possible. When my dog had to be hospitalized, Dr. Weiner kept in touch with me and the hospital staff until he was sure my dog was better. They really have a lot of heart, and most importantly, I trust them completely and know whatever they do is in the best interest of my dog.
- Pros: Staff, Location, Skill, Knowledge, Friendly, Caring
- Cons: none
GO TO ANY OTHER VET AND YOU ARE NOT GIVING YOU PET THE BEST CARE!!!!

Dr. Weiner is the kind of vet that not only cares about the animals but will go to GREAT LENGTHS to make you feel comfortable. This was also a first for me: He actually CALLED ME a couple of days after my appointment just to see how my dog was doing and to get a progress report! THE VET SHOULD BE YOUR VET!!!
- Pros: Cares, doesn't rush, doesn't do unnecessay tests, follows up, goes above and beyone
- Cons: NONE
