I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. Every one of the doctors I have visited with over the last few years with both my cats, has been wonderful, caring, gentle and knowledgeable.

The staff is friendly and lovely on the phone and in person.

I would recommend Dr. Feibusch to anyone, she is lovely.

Dr. Feibusch is the best. I have been using the Gramercy Park Animal Hospital for years for my cats. All of the doctors and staff there really care about their patients but the one I try to see is Karen Feibusch who is the best. She has seen me through some very sad times with unfailing kindness and sensitivity. She never hurts the cats, but is thorough and is a good diagnostician. Sometimes you wait longer than you like and sometimes not - it depends upon the day. It is a doctor's office, after all and there are emergencies.

Kindness and care. When I had to put my beloved dog to sleep, Dr. Feibusch (and all the front desk women) were unbelievably kind to me and my pet. I intend to keep seeing this doctor when I get a cat. Sensitive, wonderful.

very caring staff but expect long waits. The staff and the vets are very caring and thorough but expect long waits and long hold time when you call. Try to schedule at least busy times for best service.

Expert, caring vet service. My cat had an absessed tooth that had to be removed. I called a few other vet services before coming to Dr. Feibusch. The care was phenomenal and quick and well-priced. Just to give you an idea of what some other vets can do, a different service said over the phone they would want a stool sample and analysis. This is just gauging for a cat with a sore tooth! Dr. Feibusch and her partner doctor made a thorough examination of our cat, did not come up with any extra silly unnecessary charges, and were kind, professional doctors. They called the day after to see how the cat was doing. Everything went super-smooth. I'll never go to another vet!

A caring, wise vet.. Dr. Karen Feibush has taken care of our cats for years now. She has just the right combination of serious medical knowlege and caring and compassion. Like with most great doctors, word gets around so there is usually a wait--but one can never really predict how many emergencies will come up. I am more than willing to bring a book and read for a while, knowing that my sick cat will get all the attention he needs without being rushed.

Dr. Feibush will take all the time she needs to get the diganosis right, and explain all of the possiblities clearly in terms you can understand. She is well aware of the special bond that peole have with their pets.

The offices are not sleek and new, but more than adequate. I'd rather they spend their money on medical equipment than on fancy decorations. The only con I can think of is that they are not open 24/7.

Less then competent? You be the judge!. I had two lovely sister cats that Karen Feibush treated over the years. When one was wheezing I took her in Dr, Feibush who diagnosed it as an allergy. As the wheezing increased I made another appointment and agreed to have my sweet old cat put under anesthesia to be x-rayed by a technician that comes in just to do the x-rays. Dr Feibush still found nothing to be alarmed about.

Finally after the prompting of a friend I brought the ailing cat and her records and x-rays to Fifth Ave Veterinary Association. The images I brought were useless, far to dark to see anything, I was told. When digital images were taken a highly competent veterinarian diagnosed cancer of the throat as well as cancer in two other sites. She was immediately put on prednisone and lived only a few months.

After getting over the grief of losing my old pet I wrote Dr. Feibush and told her about her inadequate diagnostic tools and her misdiagnosis. I requested the $700 that I had paid her for her diagnosis be returned. I never heard from her, not even an apology.

Take your animals to her at your own risk.

Dedicated Doctors, Surly Staff. The doctors have been great, but the desk staff are either surly or incompetent or both. Only after a month of repeatedly calling them was I able to get my cat's test results. A test that I paid $100 for! Most of the time I call, I am put on hold in excess of 5 minutes. As I write this, I am on hold with them: we are at 9 minutes and counting. Bottom line: good doctors, absolutely terrible service. Find another place.

Excellent cat and dog care. We have used Karen Feibusch as our veterinarian since she joined Gramercy Park Animal Hospital -- over 16 years ago. Also have used Jay Kuhlman, the owner of the practice, and Doug Giacalone, who recently joined.

Dr. Feibusch is a caring, knowledgeable, conscientious veterinarian. She will not only do what is right for your pet, she will do what is right for you, as your pet's caregiver. She will ALWAYS call you back when a message is left with the desk. They are very good about getting messages to the dr's. I can only remember ONE time in all these years, with ALL MY CATS (I currently have 6) that a message wasn't delivered--so I consider that 99% perfect. I schlep to this practice from the upper westside--that's how good I think they are--they have done very well for my cats, through many varied issues. I highly recommend Dr. Feibusch.

HIGHLY Recommended. They're among the best vets in the city. When my last vet retired, I did an intensive search & found Dr. Feibush. I've been taking my pets to her for 12 years. I've had 2 chronically ill cats (rescues) and couldn't have asked for more caring, loving people. Dr. Feibush spelled out all of our options and never tried to influence any decisions (nor did she judge us for the choices we made). When the time came to put our oldest cat down, the entire staff was kind and empathetic. We called in the morning & when we got there, we didn't have to wait, a room was ready with a soft towel laid out on the table. We were allowed to stay with him in the room as long as we needed. I wouldn't take my other animals to any other doctors.
