A wall of signed 8-by-10's attests to the celebs who've shopped here before you--Veronique from the Victoria's Secret catalog (so much for brand loyalty) and Sarah Jessica Parker are a few of the notables. The owner rules the store like a madam and dispenses expert advice: "I like you in red. Just do something about the top."
The Goods
Bras, of course, but also corsets, panties, nighties and negligees in every shape and size. Buttery colors reign; style runs the gamut from sex kitten to innocent and feminine to sleek and modern. Everything is classy, and everything can be tried on. And it's not just the women who love this place; a huge male clientele stops by on every important occasion to pick up something for their lucky ladies.

Last night I went to La Petite Coquette, and I was so pleased with my experience and my purchases that the next morning I sent the following email to the store's website to let them know how happy I was. I think my email says it all. …I just wanted to send a note and thank the girl that assisted me last night (Thursday evening May 28) at around 5 pm. I came in looking for a few great every day bras, but that were also attractive so that my boyfriend could enjoy them too. Straight off she checked my size and then brought me tons of bras to try on. She was very patient, very professional and gave me some great tips. When I got out of the dressing room, I had tried on so many bras my head was spinning, but she had all the "yeses" and "maybes" ready to go, which made it so easy. When I got home, I tried on my purchases (four new bras) and I love, love, love each and every one of them - including that fantastic regular bra that turns into a halter bra. Her recommendations were exactly right. I never got her name, but if you know who was working that evening, I just wanted to pass along my thanks and make sure that she got recognition for a job well done! I have been to your store many times over the years and have always been very happy with my purchases. I used to live on 12th and 6th way back when your store was in the smaller space on the other side of the street. Now I live in Tribeca, and don't get there as often, but whenever I need some new bras, I always come to your store. I am so happy that your store is still around and doing well. You totally deserve it. Your selection is excellent, the store is beautiful and the staff is outstanding. You are the best in the City by far. See you soon! The owner Rebecca gave me individual attention and I have a larger bust and cannot usually find bras in my size or any different colours and I found them here Also a great to buy hanky panky underwear

I had the best experience in the store today. I have gotten my breast redone 6 months ago and went to all the major department stores , the worst experience. I enter la petite coquette today and all my fitting were fantastic. If you invest in new breast you must treat them like your jewels, they deserve the best support so you can have them perfect for a long time. So I am telling you I flew to NYC to have the lingerie expert put me in the best. Please , you invest a lot of money in the breast go to expert to give you the best to make sure in 5 years they are still fantastic Thank you so much to all the girls at la petite coquette in NYC. From a very , very happy shopper.
