Excellent clean cuts, at a great price-point.
Meg has super cuts, and her wonderful sales assistant is a rock star. The clothing is of excellent quality and alterations are done without anyone taking offense. (I prefer my dresses to hit at the knee, and most dress hit mid calf.)
This is a super place for staples.

Meg is Awesome!.
I love this boutique because Meg let's us know why its important to support small business owners: She pays attention to detail with impressive quality in her work and she cares about the customer, working hard to meet our needs at every turn. I saw the most perfect suit in your store window and I tried it on and had it taliored to fit me perfectly by the owner herself. How often does that happen at big department stores? Thank you meg for making me feel beautiful!

This cutting-edge East Villager is still rocking..
The Scene
The boutique formerly known as Megan Kinney still has all the star-power of its former incarnation, and still displays all the gutsy styles designed by Meg herself. The store has gathered quite a fan base since its early '90s opening, and its much-adored, Canadian-born owner still shows no signs of selling out.
The Goods
Kinney knows just how to take a big cowl-neck sweater and make that giant arc of fabric droop in just the right way so that it's somehow, improbably, really sexy. She chooses bold patterns, unusual textures--such as cotton with a waxy sheen--and daring cuts, as in a skirt that reveals the shins in front and grazes the heels in back.
