Found: Best Skirt Ever!. I love Jill Anderson, and all the boutiques on Ninth Street! My favorite skirt was purchased here, at a pretty penny, but well, well worth it. It was an A-line skirt just below the knee, with a star patterned diecut ultrasuede overlay. I always feel a little "urban cowgirl" when I wear it. Great shop with unique designs.

my favorite store in the world. I've been shopping at Jill's faithfully for ten years. Her clothes garner the most compliments of any in my wardrobe. They are the perfect blend of street meets coiture with expert custom tailoring.

Could not live without her. Jill's clothes are just amazing. I have been shopping here from the beginning and wouldn't part with a single item. The store is just beautiful and comfortable, the staff is lovely and there is never a hard sell. They have recommended things I never thought would work on me and they have, beautifully. Jill herself is just fantastic, sweet and so wonderfully talented. She designed outfits for my commitment ceremony and it was a truly amazing experience. Customer service like no other. Go now!

Jill Anderson is the BEST!. Jill is brilliant - her clothes make every woman feel beautiful! Her pieces are timeless - I still wear some of her early pieces - from 1996 - and still look fabulous. Her shop is an East Village treasure!

Great Sense of Style. I love these clothes. I have several dresses, skirts, pants, blouses from Jill Anderson. They have a distinctive, feminine, retro, sophistication that make them adaptable for work, play or formal occasions, just by changing the accessories. Some of their sales help are more helpful than others. For my taste, some take a too "hands-off" approach, although others may appreciate that.

User review by jmpo. The inside of most garments are beautifully finished with french seams.

She does alterations or will make up a new piece with custom details if she has the fabric.

soooooooo comfortable. jill anderson's clothes are not only unique and super comfortable, but as many many who own them know, they are super durable. her "green garbs" are a great idea for the bargain hunter, especially since the clothes last and last, and look and feel as good the first time worn as always.

The Best!. Jill's clothes are the best--beautifully made, cool, and she does alterations! I have been a customer since she first opened her East Village shop, and I am still wearing the two dresses that I bought her first season. Well made, comfy, and stylish. Great variety--form casual pants to fancy dresses. What more could one want?

Simple, timeless, well-made designer clothes for the downtown diva.. Come hang out on the overstuffed sofa in Jill Anderson's narrow East Village boutique--every other hip gal in the neighborhood is here, and they all seem to be having a blast. The adoring hordes are certainly on to something: classic, simple clothes that are elegant and well made. Who can resist hip threads in a setting this relaxed, with the ebullient designer fluttering around, catering to each customer as if she were an old friend? Jill Anderson's clothes possess a utilitarian simplicity that's flattering to many body types.

perfect clothes. jill andersons clothes make me feel like i finally can dress as me! I have been a customer going on 7 years and I can still wear the first dress i ever bought. the quality make the item last and the design makes the item timeless. I wouldnt be me without Jill Anderson
