“Wide selection at great prices”
This is great store for dishes. Nothing fancy. Usually pure white and some with patterns on the edges but if you are lucky to walk in during a sale you will get a great price. I have re stocked by apartment severals times with their dishes, silverware and glasses.
Perfect for unusual gifts.
Fishs Eddy is fantastic for inexpensive unusual gifts.
Or for the new apartment dweller. Forget Target, Pier One, Crate & Barrel and the rest for your basic kitchen needs. Get out of the boring catalog and mundane flatware, glass ware, and table top. Step out of the box, and head to Fishs Eddy.
The fun & unusual glasses are so reasonably priced you will be tempted to purchase more than your shelves can hold.
Great New York centric gifts for friends or family who have moved away, or just moved in.
Put this on your list the next time you head to Union Sq.
Great selection of unique dishes, bakeware, and glassware. I read reviews of Fishs Eddy online, and finally got over there this week. This was a really fun place to shop. They have vintage dishes, old airline utensils, and lots of (overstock?) dishes, glassware, and bakeware from restaurants and hotels. I got some nice, simple drinking glasses that were $2.99 each (that seemed average for the glasses). They also have 50% off shelves in the back right corner. The staff were very nice and upbeat, and leave you alone to browse.
This one-stop kitchenware shop has little to do with fish ... unless they're being served on one its many platters..
In Short
The Flatiron district flagship store shows off the best of the collection--check out everything from retro-themed flatware to classic restaurant-quality glassware, all displayed in casual wooden bins or shelves. Top sellers include dish sets like "212 Skyline," printed with New York City's recognizable buildings. Don't miss special dish collections by big-name designers such as Nicole Miller and Cynthia Rowley, or Fishs Eddy's own revolving collection of mismatched vintage dishes for sale in the back.
Very cool store. This store stands out among the many shops of Union Square. It is cozy and has a fun selection of dish that you wouldn't find in a usual store.
Very cute place!. I used to pass by Fishs Eddy on my way to work. From the window I saw the different displays of their dinnerware. I just loved the designs that they have, especially on my cereal bowl that I got as a gift!
